"What is this"
The ground was like a calm black sea, reflectimg the countless stars in the sky.
He was in his soul sea.
But for some reason, he couldn't get out.
[This interface is unavailable at the moment please try again later]
He tried to click the option to return to the real world, but the system told him the interface as unavailable... whatever that means.
His right arm was still intact, probably because he wasn't in his real body
Now he was left pondering.
"Am I dead..?"
This was a reasonable question, what If I sted of just going on to the afterlife he would be stuck in his soul sea forever.
That was a grim fate, and it wasn't impossible.
Since Zach was already here and he couldn't go back, might as well check the rewards.
[Rewards: Fragment of the map of anchors
Warmth of truth
Personal assistant
God's fragment (knight of Judah)]
Zach looked at the rewards in awe.
[Fragment of the map of anchors: a detailed map of the ice mountain plains 1/4]
The scroll floated in front of Zach and opened, revealing where he was currently in the real world.
"Wait why am I here". Zach pointed at the 3d image of the frozen sea.
Last time he was in the canyon, but now he was in the ice sea.
It could be anything.
Maybe a monster had swelled him up and made its way to the depths.
Or his lifeless body was drifting beneath the ice.
Who knows.
Zach took a look at the other items.
[Warmth of truth: A bracelet that embraces you with tranquil warmth.
+80% resistance to ice.]
This was really useful on the contrary, especially now he's exploring the icy terrains.
[Personal assistant: made to meet it's masters needs.]
'Huh'.
The item was actually a black gooy slime, that wiggled.
'What is that'
Was that a Familiar?.
Probably mystial pet.
It didn't look anything special, probably a low grade mystial pet.
Zach didn't pay it any attention and moved on to the next item.
[God's fragment (Knight of Judah)]
Description: A gift bestowed upon the stranded seeker by the neglected god.
"This is my gift to you"
Zach eyes nearly rolled backwards in shock.
A God's fragment....
A true gods fragment....
There are people in this world, all powerful, and what they all had in common was the possession of a God's fragment.
Normally a seeker would need to be contracted to an enterprise inorder to use your inate skill.
But with a God's fragment, you could cast your inate skill without needing to use a tether link.
Because the gods fragment automatically binds you to a certain gods powers.
Zach eyes gleamed.
That was only one of the perks.
The other perks was a form.
Also known as a transformation ability.
This would allow you to take a monstrous form, more like an otherworldly entity with powers that far supercede your ranks.
And the description said something about a stranded seeker...
Was that him.
There were also some questions in his mind.
Did Eli undergo the game too?.
Was he dead?.
These were the two most important questions that he needed answers to.
[Do you want to use the gods fragment beast of Judah?]
Zach saw the message.
"Yes".
[Processing....]
[Say the phrase "Death, be my blade once more" to active the fragment of the beast of Judah]
It even had an entire cool phrase to activate.
Zach was basically stuck in his internal world and his body was most likely resting somewhere.
He couldn't go back to the real world so might as well train in here.
"I-T" Zach called out.
[Synchronizing...3....2....1...]
The water beneath his feet ripped and a shadowy figure emerged in the distance.
[Training settings initiated...]
Number of Training dummy (...1...)
State of training dummy
Training difficulty... (Easy)
The system truly gave Zach enough room to costomize the training however he wants.
This was the frist time he was using this interface so it was kind of hard for Zach to navigate the controls.
But he did it somehow.
Frist thing he wanted to try out was how much damage could he actually do.
In his internal world he could activate his inate skill multiple times with zero drawbacks because basically he wasn't using tether.
He summoned the blade and walked over to the training dummy delivering a slash to its mid section.
[-56 HP]
He continued by delivering multiple slashes all over it's body.
The blade passed through its shadowy figure but the damage was displayed above.
[-47 HP]
....
[-57 HP]
[-70 HP]
....
[-61 HP]
He tried it a few more times and the highest attack damage he could do was 70 with just the basic katana.
His blade glowed with a blue light as he slashed the dummy.
[-200 HP]
"Woah"
Zach glanced at the blade.
With just the most basic skill with the katane he could do way better damage.
There were a lot of things to try.
Zach activated the crimson overdrive making his sord glow red, and slashed at the dummy.
[-158 HP]
The crimson overdrive at level 3 imbued into the blade could do so much more damage.
There were three skills with the sword but Zach never had a reason to use them, but since he was trapped here, he might as well gauge his abilities from minimum to maximum.
His basic punch could do about 10 damage, his punch imbuded with crimson overdrive could do 50 damage.
His basic slash could do 70 damage max, and his slash with the crimson overdrive could do a total 180 damage.
He activated the crimson overdrive channeling it into his sword.
The tachi in his hands glowed red, and then he activated the crescent slash skill, making the blade glow with a blue light.
The blad pulsated as Zach slash the dummy with all his might.
*Slash*
[- 510 HP ]
Zach grinned.
He tried it a few more times and the damaged reach 580.
He activated the second skill lunar veil, and a barrage of cresmt slashes burst out from his blade, coupled with the red aura from the crimson overdrive, hitting the training dummies.
[-763 HP]
Zach tried the skill more times.
[You're mastery on the sword has increased]
The message popped up.
Zach wasn't feeling tired at all, guess this was because he wasn't actually using his real body.
This place was really a cheat code for the higher level officals to get stronger.
Zach channelled his most powerful skill, coupled with the crimson overdrive.
*Bang*
The force was so massive it shatter the shadowy dummy to fragments in a devastating burst of light.
[-2345 HP]
This was getting more and more impossible.
Zach had done all the skills in his arsenal and the highest amount of damage that could be done was 2500.
That was a lot considerimg his basic punch was only 10 HP damage.
'Now..' Zach grinned.
"Death, become my blade once more"
Zach bady was covered in writhing smoke, his height grew and his blade became engulfed in flames.
Zach body ozzed out a dark air that cover him from head to toe, obscuring most of his features.
Above his head a crown appeared, burning intensely with bright orange flame along with his sword.
[Knight of Judah fragment has been activated]
[All attacks and stats boosted by 100%]
Just how much damage could he do with this form activated...
Time to find out.
