Kaito Ren's expression was peculiar. Asaka Hanako, heiress to the immensely wealthy Asaka family, was here? She didn't need this. The Asakas could easily afford bodyguards or even hire an S-class hero as a full-time protector, like that rich guy who had Metal Bat guard him and his son at a sushi restaurant. The Asakas could easily afford the same level of protection.
"Disappointed to see me?"
Asaka Hanako pouted, then glanced at Hellish Blizzard, who was calmly sipping tea. "She can be your roommate, why can't I? What am I lacking?"
She puffed out her chest.

Kaito Ren had a headache. He hadn't been disappointed; he'd just been surprised.
"Looks like you two already know each other. Get along, I have things to do."
Kawana, relieved that she didn't have to introduce them, quickly escaped, giving Kaito Ren the hot potato. She gave him one last, curious look. Did he have some kind of special connection to the Asaka family? Why would the heiress forgo a private room to stay in this dorm? And it seemed she was here for him.
Whatever. Kawana decided she'd stay out of this dorm's affairs from now on. Neither Hellish Blizzard nor the Asaka family were people to mess with.
"Hi, I'm Asaka Hanako. We're roommates now. Nice to meet you."
Asaka Hanako approached Hellish Blizzard, extending her hand with a friendly smile.
"Hmm."
Hellish Blizzard grunted, not even looking up. Asaka Hanako's smile faltered.
"That's just how she is. Come on, I'll show you your room."
Kaito Ren stepped in to defuse the tense situation.
"Okay!"
Asaka Hanako, beaming, went to Kaito Ren's side.
"Wow! Our rooms are right next door!"
Asaka Hanako, delighted, looked towards Hellish Blizzard with a challenging glint in her eye.
"Boring."
Hellish Blizzard's second word of the day.
Asaka Hanako, far from offended, looked smug.
Kaito Ren sighed. Women were strange creatures, especially beautiful ones. Why the sudden rivalry?
"I'll leave you two. Your rooms are ready."
Kaito Ren left, feeling it was inappropriate for him to enter the women's rooms.
"You're not coming in? Oh, right, you like to sneak in after people shower."
Hellish Blizzard's unexpected comment was laced with a hint of revenge.
WHAT?! Was she still mad about the "hens lay eggs" comment?! And the shower incident?! He hadn't seen anything!
Kaito Ren felt utterly wronged.
"Is that so? I'll go shower now."
Just when he didn't know how to explain to Asaka Hanako…
Asaka Hanako's next words left him speechless.

Hellish Blizzard, blushing furiously, retreated to her room.
Asaka Hanako, victorious, returned to her room, stealing a glance at Kaito Ren, a hint of shyness in her eyes.
Kaito Ren was left alone in the living room, utterly bewildered. Why were they fighting and taking it out on him?! He wasn't some stoic old man!
