Chapter 20 - Chapter 21 – “The Sports Festival Where All My Exes Declared War (And I Forgot My Gym Clothes)”

1. The Calm Before the Hormonal Storm

It was supposed to be a normal day. No time travel.

Absolutely! Here's Chapter 21 — full of chaos, romantic tension, and pure anime harem comedy set at a completely doomed school sports festival.

Chapter 21 – "The Sports Festival Where All My Exes Declared War (And I Forgot My Gym Clothes)"

1. The Opening Ceremony of Doom

"Why is everyone glaring at me like they want to murder me with a volleyball?"

That was the first thing I said the moment I stepped onto the field in my PE uniform pants, no shirt, and one sneaker.

Apparently, my gym bag had been "accidentally teleported to a forbidden dimension" by Airi.

Accidentally.

Right.

And I forgot to wear the team headband, so I was now classified as "teamless."

Which, according to the rules set by the Student Council (who have too much power and not enough supervision), meant I was:

A free target.

"Hunted by all teams for sport."

I waved weakly. "Can I forfeit?"

Sayuri cracked her knuckles. "Run."

2. Team Chaos vs. Team Emotional Damage

Each harem girl had led her own team.

Team Lilith – "Demon Dominators"

Motto: "There will be blood."

Team Sayuri – "Stealth and Serve"

Motto: "You won't even see the pain coming."

Team Luna – "Elegant Executioners"

Motto: "Track and kill, with grace."

Team Mizuki – "Legal Legends"

Motto: "According to subsection 3A, you're dead."

Team Ayaka – "Sunshine & Violence"

Motto: "Sparkles first, trauma later!"

And Airi, my supposed daughter from the future, was the announcer.

She started the opening speech with:

"Today, we gather not just to celebrate athleticism… but to decide which girl gets to emotionally damage Kazuki the most!"

The crowd cheered.

I sobbed internally.

3. Event 1: The 5K Death Chase

I had a 30-second head start.

Didn't matter.

At 0:32 seconds, Sayuri was already vaulting over fences with a katana and a baton.

At 0:45 seconds, Luna shot an arrow at my water bottle.

At 1:10, I tripped over a dodgeball and landed in a mud puddle.

Lilith walked over, crouched beside me, and whispered:

"You're lucky I like pathetic men."

I cried a little.

4. Event 2: Romantic Relays

Objective: Race while carrying your "love interest" bridal style.

Mizuki volunteered me before I could fake an injury.

She hoisted me into her arms like a fireman saving a burning idiot.

"Wait, this is the opposite of bridal style—!"

"Quiet," she said. "I'm doing tax deductions in my head while I run."

She finished the race in 3rd.

1st place went to Ayaka, who carried a mannequin version of me, kissed its cheek, and then threw it into the crowd like a bouquet.

I have never been more disturbed.

5. Event 3: Public Confession Bomb Tag

Each girl had to chase me and "confess" with a love letter bomb that would explode in glitter if contact was made.

Sayuri: "Kazuki, I love you more than vengeance—NOW DIE."

BOOM.

Luna: "Even if our timelines diverge, my feelings are unshakable—"

BOOM.

Lilith: "I hate you, I hate you, I hate how much I want to destroy you—"

BOOMBOOMBOOM.

Airi: "Oops, I just installed actual explosives in those letters."

Me: "YOU WHAT—"

6. Chaos Halftime Show

Just when I thought I could breathe, the halftime show started.

A surprise stage rose from the middle of the field.

Fog. Lights. Music.

Then… she walked out.

The mystery timeline bride. From Chapter 20.

Veil. White uniform. Confident strut. Holding… a bouquet of live doves?

She smiled at me.

"Kazuki Arata, it's time you officially met your future wife. Shall we dance?"

Cue fireworks, dramatic piano, and six girls grabbing various weapons.

Mizuki: "This is not in the competition rules."

Lilith: "I call foul. And possibly murder."

Ayaka: "Do we get wedding cake?"

Sayuri: "Time to die, random bridal NPC."

7. Kazuki Breaks Again

I ran. Again.

Right into the mascot pit.

Where I was attacked by a bear, a tuna, and two delinquent alpacas.

Somehow, Airi filmed all of it, added a dub, and uploaded it to the school forum with the title:

"Kazuki Arata: Harem Fugitive vs. Alpaca Mafia"

20k views in ten minutes.

I lay on the grass, half-conscious, as someone gently wiped dirt from my cheek.

Luna knelt beside me, a soft look on her face.

"…You okay, dummy?"

I blinked.

"…Define 'okay'."

She smiled faintly. "You're still breathing. That's a win."

I passed out.
