Stacy's POV
Later that night, I twirled around the twin-sized bed, the only bed in the cabin. A few seconds later, I jolted back to reality, my chest aching.
I was trying so hard to catch my breath. It seemed like I had a nightmare, and I couldn't forget how I got entangled with the weird brothers.
Not feeling safe, I made a drastic move. I stood up from the bed and took a look around to make sure he was fast asleep before I moved towards the cabin door.
Staying here only made me more nervous. Maybe the best option was to return to my parents, explain everything to them again, and annul whatever arrangements they had made with him.
The moment I got to the door and grabbed the handle, I stared back one more time to make sure he was asleep before stepping out.
The dark sky, cold wind, and silence in the woods hit me. The only sound keeping me sane was that of the crawlies, bugs, crickets, and so many more.
