Kai's POV
"What do you mean you couldn't find them, huh?" I yelled at the guards, whom I felt had been laying around instead of doing the jobs they were meant to do.
"So you think that I am crazy? They shouldn't have gone far. They went on foot, so maybe you should locate what the issue is and solve it as quickly as you can. I don't have time to play games. I am not a gamer."
They stood still, unable to say anything, but I was raking all over the place. I refused to calm down.
"How about my brother? Have you been able to track him?"
"Track him?" They asked, and I palmed myself in the face.
"What kind of useless guards have I been keeping, huh? All day I have been trying to ensure that you all are well taken care of. Yet, you can't handle this simple task?"
I scoffed, pacing around. I noticed from the corner of my eye, my love. She seemed worried, but she didn't say anything to interrupt my words with the guards.
