Smithing was more an art and a way of life than a simple craft, within the Great Undercity of Mount Volrad and that couldn't be more clear than in the heart of the city. The Heart Forge, a near legendary proving ground for smiths the world across. Here many would come to show their skill with the hope of making their mark in history, be this with new techniques, new materials, or new creations, all were welcomed and expected.
It was in the midst of this busy smithy in the heart of the Undercity that Rihanna witnessed and fell in love with her first of the Great Crafts. Her mother stood in the centre of the forge, seemingly impervious to the boiling heat and frantic flames, and she moulded in her hands an armour of awe-inspiring capability and sheer beauty. She didn't hold a hammer or any other tool, simply her hands and blazing heat, and Rihanna swore she would someday surpass even that, that she would stand above all others in this craft.
