Ryan walked over to sit next to Carl and opened the food ordering app. Together, they scrolled through multiple restaurants and endless menus. Their heads close, almost touching. Eventually, they settled on pizza.
"Now we have a new problem," Ryan said.
Carl turned to him, confusion flickering in his eyes.
"Where we should buy from," Ryan finished with a small shrug. The pizza place he frequented didn't offer takeout for its meals, and he didn't know any other places with good pizza. He thought about texting Alex to ask for recommendations, but Alex was too nosy. Who knows what he would say? And right now Carl was sitting beside him. He couldn't just pull up the chat interface to ask.
"Oh," Carl nodded in understanding. "I know a place."
