Ryan walked up the familiar line, though this time he didn't have Alex coming to pick him up. He was also dressed even more casually than the last time. When he got to the door, the bouncer asked for his pass. Ryan admitted he didn't have one, but explained he was there to pick up his boyfriend. He didn't know why he said that, but he found himself wanting it to be true.
The bouncer asked for his name, and on hearing 'Ryan,' he signaled for a waiter to come over and whispered something.
The waiter gestured for Ryan to follow.
Ryan walked behind him to a part of the club he hadn't been to, through an almost hidden door in the corner, and down a hallway before stopping in front of a door.
"He's inside," the waiter said before walking away.
