Ezra's POV
"Vian, you know what happened?" Saying that, I spilled the whole tea to Vian.
And after hearing what was happening in the beastman clans, Vian was indeed shocked—and who wouldn't be? Because those kids are not at fault who went missing. It's most likely someone kidnapped them.
"I hope all the kids are safe," Vian said, and we talked for a few more minutes before drifting off to sleep.
In the middle of the night, I heard something, which is why I woke up from my sleep and noticed Vian was still sleeping on the mat on the ground, and I was sleeping on the right side, facing Vian.
I was about to close my eyes, but just then, I saw a hand on my stomach. And I felt someone was lying behind me, and that person's hand was on me.
It was an alpha for sure, because I could feel the pheromones in the air, and on my body too. But who could it be? Because as I remembered, it was me who had locked the door from inside.
