Ezra's POV
"Do you have something to tell me?" I asked.
'Cause the way he grabbed my hand and dragged me with him, it's like he wanted to talk about something very important with me.
"No, I have got nothing. I just wanted to spend some time with you."
"Why bother? It's not like we are mates or anything. Go and spend your time with your Rin."
After saying that, I turned my head towards the wall.
"Huh! By any chance, are you jealous that I am close to Rin, right?"
"No, it's nothing like that. Why would I be jealous of him?" I said.
We both were walking down the staircase as we were coming. I was looking down because I didn't want to fall. That's why I was stepping down carefully, and he was also going down slowly.
"Ezra, do you regret leaving our pack and coming here?" he asked.
"No. Why would I? It's not like we were in a relationship that I would regret. I don't regret it at all. In fact, I'm happy that I left a pack in which they had lied to me from the start."
