Ezra's POV
In the evening, when everything got ready, there was no carriage ready because Vlad was going to use teleport magic to take us to the human world.
So we didn't really pack anything. Sylven hasn't gotten ready yet, and now I am sitting on Vlad's bed because he is inside the bathroom. I feel like I should tell him about last night—that someone was in my room.
As I was thinking this, just then the bathroom door opened and Vlad stepped outside.
"Ezra, I think we should leave now. Sylven must have gotten ready too."
"Vlad, I have something to tell you," I said while standing up from the bed.
"Yes, I am listening."
"Actually, last night someone was in my room. In the middle of the night when I woke up, I saw a hand on my stomach, and I felt someone lying behind me. But when I turned around, I saw there was no one there."
After telling him, I felt light, like a big burden went off my head. But when I glanced up to see his reaction, his face was pale.
