Ezra's POV
I took my steps towards them. And when I reached, they both grabbed my hand.
"What were you thinking? Standing in the middle of the street like this?" Vlad asked.
"Vlad, I know that candy merchant. He used to come to give candies to the palace when I was a child, but then once I saw him with my father and I never saw him again after that."
As I said this, they both exchanged glances, because of course, this was not what they were expecting—that I would suddenly say I know that candy merchant.
"But still, it's not clear yet that your father is related to those kidnappings yet cuz now there is no clue of his in any scen, so we will have to find some clues first," Sylven said, looking behind me.

There was a lock on the door of the shop and we didn't have the keys. If we tried to break that lock now, I am sure people's attention would go on us and they would find out we are doing something weird.
