Ezra's POV
"Didn't you hear? I asked, who are you all?" that old man repeated.
"We are the new owners of this shop. The old merchant sold this shop to us, so we came to see it. And who are you to ask us this?" Sylven said while taking a step ahead and standing in front of me, looking into that man's eyes.
"When did the previous owner sell you this shop? And why didn't you bring your subordinates with you to clean it? Why come alone with one omega?"
This old man is asking more than he should. One of his legs is already in the grave, yet he still wants to ask all types of questions like if he doesn't ask, he'll die.
Vlad also took a step forward and stood beside Sylven. Now these two were standing right in front of me, and I couldn't see anything except their backs. Then I saw Vlad had extended his hand back to hold mine.
I gave him my hand, and he grabbed it.
