Since Michael had instructed him to stay away from her, he couldn't possibly do it.
Peter took a deep breath and then went to have his bath.
Done with everything, he walked to the kitchen to get his meal.
After getting his meal, he saw a little paper on the table and smiled.
"Oh!" He exclaimed, smiling, as he knew that it was from his mother.
He picked up the paper, read it, and tossed it into the waste bin.
"My life revolves around my education." He said to himself.
He picked up his backpack and left the house, taking the money his mother had left behind.
Getting to school, he saw Claudia, who had a smile on her face, looking at him.
"Does she like me the way I do?" He asked himself.
Michael, who walked into the school looking at his best friend, placed his hand across Peter's neck.
"Let's go." He said to Peter who looked at him.
They walked away together.
"Thank you for the last day," Claudia said and Peter smiled.
Michael looked at his friend and wondered what he had done for her on the last day.
"I will let you know what happened later," Peter said noticing the look on Michael's face.
"Better!" Michael said.
Getting to the class, Michael smiled, looking at Peter, who dropped his bag.
"I am all ears." He said and Peter smiled.
"You should go take off your bag then come to hear my story," Peter said, and Michael smiled, walking away immediately.
He returned to Peter, who told him of how he followed Claudia the last day, what took place, and how Claudia took him to her house to tend to his injuries.
Michael laughed looking at his friend's bruises.
"Defender Peter." He said laughing.
"I had to do something," Peter said and Michael laughed more.
"I told you to stay away," Michael said angering Peter.
"You planned it?" Peter asked angrily.
"Planned what?" Michael asked confused.
"The attack," Peter said.
Michael looked at him weirdly.
"I never did that." He said and Peter smiled.
"Prove it," Peter said.
"I have no ill motive towards the poor girl nor her poor money," Michael said and laughed.
"Then there is only one person," Peter said.
"The one who likes you," Michael said.
"Diana!" Peter exclaimed. "I can't believe she is like others."
Michael looked at his friend and shook his head.
"I also do not believe she can do this," Michael said. "She is of good behavior."
Peter smiled looking at his friend.
"You so much like her." He said.
"Yes, I told you that before you planned on playing her," Michael said.
"Your girlfriend out of the school?" Peter asked.
"I found out last night that she is a cheat," Michael replied and Peter sighed.
"Everything is going to be alright." He said patting Michael's back.
Minutes later, they left for a lab.
Diana walked to Peter and gave him a peck.
"Heard of what happened to Claudia yesterday?" Peter asked and Diana shook her head.
"What happened?" She asked.
"She was beaten by some bullies," Peter said looking at her.
"What?" Diana asked looking at Peter.
"The bullies also attacked you." She said and he shook his head.
"I mistakenly hurt myself." He said to Diana, who acted shocked.
"I should go meet Claudia." She said but Peter held her back.
"If I may ask where were you after class yesterday?" Peter asked.
"I gave you a peck, then left for my house." She left.
He saw the sincerity in her voice and couldn't help but wonder who had planned the attack.
"Alright." He said.
"Why did you ask that?" She asked, and he thought about what reply to give.
"I saw someone who looks like you...., forget about it." He said and she nodded.
"I should go check on Claudia," Diana said and left before Peter could stop her.
Peter looked at Claudia and wondered what she was going to tell Diana.
Diana met with Claudia and spoke with her for some minutes.
A teacher walked into the lab and began teaching. He asked them some questions, and Claudia answered most of them.
The questions that she didn't answer were the ones the teacher made her not answer.
A smile erupted on Peter's lip as Claudia spoke.
"I am proud of you, my lady." He said to himself silently.
The teacher gave them all the answers they submitted during the last class and applauded both Claudia and Peter for a good job.
He also applauded Michael for keeping up then he made a story about the topic he had taught.
"With that, bye for now." The teacher said and left.
Peter noticed that something wasn't right so he looked back.
Suddenly Diana screamed. Terry used a hand to cover her mouth and gave her a smirk.
"Careful!" She said.
The whole people looked at Diana who was wincing in pain.
"What happened to her?" A guy asked.
"She mistakenly got her hand on a sharp object," Terry said making them all sigh.
"You shouldn't have shouted making us feel something happened to you." The guy said and Terry smiled at Diana.
Diana looked at Peter who took his eyes off her.
She felt sad but couldn't do anything.
Peter walked out of the lab and she followed after him.
"Peter!" She called.
Peter looked at her giving her a demeaning look.
"You actually wanted our attention?" He asked and she shook her head.
"I didn't." She said.
"What happened?" Peter asked.
Diana opened her mouth to speak but Peter walked away.
Claudia walked out to comfort Diana who leaned on her.
"It's painful." Diana cried. "Terry hit me hard with the sharp thing."
"I guess you mistakenly touched it, as she said," Claudia said, weeping Diana's tears.
Diana stared at Claudia for some minutes then sighed.
Peter walked with Michael to a bench and ate.
"Let's go in and then get our meal after the next class," Claudia said and Diana looked unbelievable.
