She got up and walked over to Peter.
"Where's Michael?" She asked.
"He has gone out." He said answering her. "Why do you ask of him?"
"Diana would like him to confess his feelings to her," Claudia said, smiling, and Peter played dumb.
Seeing Peter's face made Claudia laugh.
"Why the look?" She asked and Peter laughed.
"You mean Michael?" Peter asked pointing out of the lab.
"Yes, what is wrong with him?" Claudia asked and he continued laughing.
"He is shy," Peter said. "Reason he hasn't told her yet."
Claudia took in a deep breath.
"He should be able to do so if he wants her." She said and Peter nodded.
"When should we officially announce ourselves to everyone?" Peter asked but before Claudia could reply, a teacher walked into the lab.
Michael walked into the lab looking side to side.
The teacher typed in some characters into the screen and took up a machine.
He began teaching them what each part of the machine was called and meant for. He also taught them each function and how to handle every part of it.
"Now that you all understand, I would like every one of you to draw the machine, identifying each part on your pad." The teacher said.
Five minutes later, the teacher changed the image displayed on the screen.
"That will be all for now." He said and left the lab.
Claudia smiled and studied the drawing on her pad while Peter looked at her with a smile.
"Claudia!" Diana called.
"Yes, Diana," Claudia said.
"Have you spoken to Michael?" She asked.
Claudia looked at her taking in a deep breath.
"He will confess to you soon." She said holding Diana's hand. "Trust."
Diana looked at Claudia with a smile.
"Thank you for being a great friend." She said and Claudia bowed.
"Are you ready?" They heard Peter ask and looked up.
"Ready for what?" Diana asked.
"Our confession to the class." He replied and she smiled.
"Isn't it early?" Diana asked and Peter looked at her confused.
She began to laugh noticing the look on Peter's face.
"I know that you want to confess your love for Claudia to everyone." She said and Peter sighed.
"It's better early than never." He said and she nodded.
"What about your meal?" She asked.
"We will have it in our next free period," Peter said and she sighed.
"Alright." She said.
She allowed Claudia to walk to Peter.
Peter walked out of the lab and pleaded with those who were out eating that he had an important announcement.
Everyone trooped into the lab to hear Peter.
Peter smiled seeing them all sitting.
"I have a confession to make," Peter said letting go of Claudia's hand.
Everyone looked at him while thinking of what confession he was going to make.
"I have always been a playboy, dating ladies who took an interest in me." He said. "A reason some guys try to stay away from me, but I care less."
Everyone began to murmur while he found it hard to speak.
"Silence!" Diana shouted making everyone quiet.
Claudia, whom Peter had given his phone, was recording it as Peter had asked her to, to tell the class at large.
Peter pleaded with every girl he had played with by calling out their names and telling them that he was sorry.
"I have some good news." He said and everyone gave their attention. "I found my true love whom I will never betray."
"Who is that?" A guy asked, and Peter looked at Claudia, who smiled.
"It is no other than Claudia Banks." He said and some girls started laughing.
"It is because Claudia proves smarter than he is. He wants to use the poor girl." They murmured.
Peter, knowing their thoughts, gave them a piece of his mind and announced that officially he would like to begin dating her.
A few minutes later, they took up their bags and walked into another lab.
Claudia had a smile on her face as she held onto Peter's hand, and they walked into the lab.
Getting into the lab, they left themselves.
Minutes later, a teacher walked into the class and taught them a new topic.
When he was done, he turned to the people.
"Can anyone give a detailed explanation of last week's lecture?" He asked, and almost everyone in the lab raised their hands.
Claudia and Peter, however, didn't raise their hands as it was the teacher's custom not to call them out though they raised their hands. He only called them whenever he wanted a detailed explanation.
The teacher smiled, looking at the few whose hands weren't up, and picked five of them, including Claudia.
Two people stammered as they hadn't read it, whereas two picked out some points and explained to the best of their knowledge.
"Over to you, Claudia." The teacher said.
Claudia gave a detailed explanation amazing everyone and the teacher.
Minutes later, the teacher left.
Claudia walked out of the lab to have her snack.
Minutes later, Peter joined her, dropping a piece of cake and a drink beside her.
"Have this and do not refuse." He said, and she smiled, taking it.
Minutes later, they walked into the class and told Michael that Diana needed him to confess his feelings to her and he only smiled.
"You shouldn't be shy to let her know if your intentions are good," Claudia said and he only smiled.
"I want the best for you," Peter said giving him a tap on his shoulder.
Michael smiled nodding his head.
A few minutes later, a teacher entered the lab.
"Pair up." He said and Claudia walked to Diana.
They were all three in a pair and the teacher set up chemical instruments before every pair.
Minutes later, they began working till they were done.
Some minutes after the teacher had left the lab, they all left.
Claudia and Peter walked to Michael seeing that Diana was packing up.
"Aren't you going to pour your heart out to her?" They asked.
Michael pulled onto his bag, looked at them, and then walked out of the lab, making them amazed.
