The rain hammered against the windowpanes, relentless and unforgiving. Inside the dimly lit room of the ancestral home in Pulivendula, Jagan Mohan Reddy stood silent, staring out into the stormy horizon. Jagan's grandfather, Y.S. Raja Reddy, had started with little but built a foundation rooted in service and resilience. His father, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy — YSR — had risen to become one of Andhra Pradesh's most beloved leaders, his sudden death leaving a wound that no election or victory could heal.
Now, with the weight of his family's history pressing on him, Jagan faced not only political enemies but his own doubts.
