"Uhm… okay. Let's, uh… focus now. This shouldn't be something new." Mr Seraph cleared his throat, trying to sound like he was still in control of the situation, even though his posture said otherwise.
"One body. Three people. Being joint with your parallel self was one thing," Jane began, arms crossed and brow furrowed, "but now we're seeing three in one, and it's supposed to be normal?"
"Like she explained," Mr Seraph nodded toward Teddy, who was calmly seated with her hands folded on her lap, "There happened to be two versions of her in the other world. So, when the worlds merged, it caused… a compression. A full merge wasn't possible, and dualism wouldn't work. So here we are."
"And all three have different personalities." Carly muttered.
"I just wish I could control it," Teddy smiled nervously, fingers twiddling. "It just happens. Something I just can't stop."
"Tell me about it." Carl snorted. "Sometimes, Carly just happens too."
Carly turned, unamused. "Excuse me?"
