Aria's POV
I opened my eyes the next morning to find three pairs of worried eyes staring at me intently. They were Thorne's, Silas's, and Draven's. Kael was nowhere in sight.
I tried to sit up but Draven who was seated on the edge of the bed near my head, gently pressed me back down.
"Don't strain yourself, Aria. You need to get some rest," he said softly.
I nodded, though confusion prickled at me.
The room was massive. Even twice the size of the basement I'd once been locked in back at my parents' house. Bigger even than the bedchambers Alpha Jaxon had taken me to the night he claimed me. But despite the space, there was something unsettling about it. The air was heavy with a damp scent, as if it hadn't been lived in for years.
