"I now transfer all these assets to the estate of Jack Berdammer."
Everyone gasped, none of them understanding why the sole heir to the Navoly Corporation was handing over the company's assets to her husband's family.
Jack, Elena's husband, smiled with satisfaction as his wife, without any coaxing, simply signed the power of attorney for the company to become the property of Jack's family.
"I signed this," Elena said.
Elena then handed the signed letter to her mother-in-law, Diana.
"Darling, you are very, very kind. I never thought you would make such a great sacrifice. I will be a husband who takes good care of you for the rest of your life," Jack whispered tenderly.
"That won't be necessary," Elena said coldly.
"What do you mean?" asked Jack in astonishment.
Elena's expression did not change, she did not look affected by her husband's treatment. Instead, she took another letter out of another envelope and handed it to Jack.
"Hm? What's this? You've given me too much already, Elena. Is this..."
"It's divorce papers, I've filed for divorce from you and soon we'll be free of any ties," Elena said expressionless. "Enjoy your happiness, there is a price I have to pay to live happily."
Elena walked away with dignity, she didn't say anything after that and left the mansion in her private car.
Jack, seeing this, still looked around. But his mother stopped him from following Elena.
"What are you afraid of? Haven't we already got all the wealth she has as Mr Navoly's only daughter? It's a good thing she divorced you," the woman said with a sly look on her face.
A woman approached Jack, she took Jack's strong arm and gently stroked Jack's chest, she smiled and was not ashamed to do so in front of Diana. Diana didn't mind, as if she was already for it.
"Jessica, now that Jack has officially become the owner of a great fortune, you two are becoming more and more compatible, especially since Jack is now the full owner of the Navoly company. Wouldn't it be great if the owners of Navoly and Bellarogi were a couple? You two are perfect for each other," Diana said complimentarily.
Jack smiled and grinned slightly, returning Jessica's caress before taking her hand. It was easy for him to start a relationship with another woman, even though he was still the husband of another woman.
Several camera shots were taken to capture the moment. Jessica looked at her colleague, who she had deliberately asked to take a picture of Jessica and Jack. Without hesitation, she wanted to show Elena her intimacy with Jack so that Elena would feel even more crushed.
On the way, Elena's personal assistant looked surprised while looking at the content on his social media, he hurriedly handed his smartphone to Elena.
"Mistress, look at Mr Jack's shameless behaviour, how can he be making out with the daughter of the owner of the Bellarogi company when he has just received divorce papers from you," the man said.
"This is the beginning of their downfall, I'll give them some time to enjoy themselves," Elena turned her head and held up three fingers. "Three months, and after that we will witness the destruction of their lives until there is nothing left."
Elena's personal assistant, Edward, smiled at his boss's confidence. He was sure that something had happened to cause Elena to make such a big decision so suddenly, and it had even become the talk of the town.
"I won't make the same mistakes I made last time. Losing a small business like this is better than ruining my life like I did before." Elena vowed silently, her heart burning with vangeance.

Flashback On
"Honey, are you sure you don't want to run this company?" Elena sat next to Jack as he sipped his drink.
"No, this is your parents' company, it would be better if you ran everything. I'll back you up," Jack said.
Elena saw her husband as a very sincere person, even Jack did not show his true nature of deceit and evil. He seemed a responsible and generous man.
"Darling, you have a phone call," Jack said.
"Wait a minute," Elena said, picking up the phone. "Hello?"
"Sorry mistress, there is a problem at the company. We've had a lot of cancellations from investors, as well as product returns and refund requests coming into our finance department. We're overwhelmed."
Elena's eyes widened, she had expected there to be problems in her company, but she had not expected the effect to be so great. The problem of the company's trade competition was a common one, but for some reason there was an unnatural emphasis that Navoly's company was experiencing.
"And there's one more thing I have to say, this problem is spreading to other assets and units that are causing swelling losses. I'll send you the company data," said Navoly.
A document arrived and was quickly opened by Elena, her eyes bulging as she saw that the company was almost bankrupt. Elena fell to her knees, her eyes fading and she fainted instantly.
"Where am I? Is this a hospital?" Elena thought as she looked around.
Elena tried to get up from where she was lying, but at that moment Elena realised that her body was very difficult to move. Barely able to move at all, Elena could only move her eyeballs desperately and tried to speak, but her mouth also felt stiff.
"What's going on? Why can't I speak?" Elena vowed and looked around in confusion.
Elena looked around, eyes wide with fear.
She panicked inwardly. Her body refused to move.
She screamed silently in her mind, helpless—only her eyes obeyed her now.
For a moment, Elena thought she might be having a stroke. That would explain why her entire body felt paralyzed.
"Have you prepared the power of attorney?"
Elena's eyes went to the source of the voice, Jack was talking to a woman and it was Jessica. Elena didn't understand what Jack meant by the power of attorney, Elena just kept trying to ask Jack for help, hoping that Jack would understand that Elena was eager to talk now.
"Of course, Jack. All you have to do is add Elena's signature or thumbprint and the Navoly Company will be yours," Jessica said with a happy laugh.
"You're such a smart woman, I'm lucky to have you, Jessica, your hunch was right. By shocking her and triggering her congenital heart disease, she'll have a stroke and be near death. We can control a lot of things, including the millions of dollars of insurance she'll be left with," Jack said.
"What? They've been planning this all along? And seriously—it's not just my company they're after. They want my insurance, my savings—everything I've built over the years," Elena thought bitterly, disbelief twisting in her chest.
