The levo sensor system of Astralis had exploded only moments ago, signaling a catastrophic outburst of an S-rank losing control. Yet what awaited him was silence. No screaming fans. No thundering music. The entire arena lay unnervingly still, like a stage after the curtain has fallen too soon.
Sylvan emerald eyes narrowed when they caught sight of a familiar insignia gleaming on the back of a coat. A tall figure was slowly rising in front of the stadium gates, something—or rather someone—cradled in his arms.
