Serein raised both arms, struggling to push back against his levo. With soundwaves this violent, her own levo couldn't possibly reach him.
It has to be physical contact.
Summoning every last drop of her energy, she shaped her levo into a fragile shield that barely wrapped around her body.
"No need to summon hell," she spat with a sharp grin. "I already am hell."
Her levo lashed out, forcing Elias's chaotic current back. By following the visible stream of his flow, she spotted a fissure along his right wing.
She seized the moment. While Elias staggered, she rushed in, forcing her battered body to regain at least a sliver of rhythm.
But Elias noticed. His voice broke into a surge, hurling a fresh wave of sound toward her. Serein bent her knees, vaulted high, and spun through the air, landing soundlessly right behind him.
Almost instantly, her arms wrapped around his torso. She poured her levo into him, forcing a guiding link.
