Synopsis
When summer’s warmth first returns to the land, so too does something far older — and far more dangerous — than any demigod at Camp Half-Blood remembers. Buried deep in the forgotten groves of Yosemite, a girl sealed in ancient magic begins to stir. She is the lost daughter of Pan, the Wild God long thought dead, and a descendant of Demeter — a child born of root and flame, of vine and howl. She was hidden away to protect the world from her growing power... or perhaps to protect her from it. Now, with strange tremors in the forest and monsters stirring in places they should not be, the Oracle delivers a prophecy: a quest must be taken to seek the Wild where none remain. Percy Jackson joins Annabeth Chase and Grover on a journey through haunted glades, crumbling groves, and harvest plains. But what begins as a mission to awaken a sleeping demigod becomes something far more dangerous — a race against time to stop an ancient threat from rising through the roots of the earth. As the Wild’s daughter awakens, she must decide whether to heal the world that abandoned her… or tear it down with the wrath of untamed nature. The gods want her silenced. Gaea wants her claimed. And the world may not survive her awakening. ===+=== I have a lot of ideas for fanfics and original novels, but since I lack time and motivation, many of them do not have more than a few chapters, I will probably publish them, but I do not have time to write long stories, so if anyone is interested in continuing them, please let me know so I can read them in the future. ===+=== And also English is not my main language, I use AI to correct errors and late editing by hand, so if there were any errors, I apologize in advance. ===+=== Apart from the MC, I do not own this universe or characters and their rights are reserved to their author Rick Riordan. Also, the cover is not mine and if the author of this image wants to remove it, please contact me.

Chapter 1 - The Oracle Speaks

The Big House was unusually silent.

Percy sat on the creaky couch, arms crossed, tapping his foot against the floor. The Oracle hadn't spoken in weeks, not since the last quest ended in disaster. But Chiron had called them here—him, Annabeth, and Grover—because something had shifted.

"Why us?" Percy asked again.

Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Because we're the only ones dumb enough to say yes."

Grover didn't laugh. He looked worried. "There's something wrong with the wild places. I can feel it. Like they're going… hollow."

Just then, the door to the attic creaked open. Chiron's hoofbeats echoed softly as he entered. "She's ready. One of you must go see her."

The three exchanged glances. Percy sighed and stood. "I'll do it."

Climbing to the attic felt like walking into a thunderstorm. The air was thick, buzzing with something ancient and watching. The room was dusty, filled with relics from quests past. And in the center sat the Oracle of Delphi—a shriveled mummy with a crown of laurel leaves and empty eyes.

Percy stepped forward. "Uh… hi?"

The air snapped like a whip.

The mummy's mouth opened, and green mist spilled into the air, twisting like vines. The room darkened, and the voice came—not hers, not Percy's—but something older than the gods themselves.

When summer's warmth first kisses the land,

Born of the Wild and granddaughter of grain,

Seek the Wild where none remain,

Through haunted glade and harvest plain.

Three shall tread the silent field,

To wake the Wild, or keep it sealed.

Where ivy coils 'round stone and bone,

The sealed one waits beneath the throne.

Where mountains hush and giants sleep,

The forest hides what gods would keep.

Beware the path where silence grows,

For death walks where the green god goes.

The mist evaporated. Percy stumbled back.

He ran downstairs, heart pounding. Annabeth stood the moment she saw him.

"Well?" she asked.

Percy swallowed. "We're going on a quest."
