Chapter 1 - Love’s Melody

As the clock struck 6 pm on March 1st, the bustling business district began to witness the familiar sight of executives and professionals leaving their offices. Among them was Grayson Steele, a charismatic businessman at the helm of the multinational luxury fashion company, Esh, whose presence never failed to capture the attention of the many women who admired him from afar.

Having just finished a long day at the office, Grayson adjusted his tie briskly walked out, leaving behind a trail of intrigued glances. A group of office workers, including Sarah and Emily, couldn't help but discuss the magnetic aura surrounding Grayson.

"Did you see Grayson leaving? He's like a walking magnet, drawing attention wherever he goes," exclaimed Sarah, a young intern, with excitement.

Emily, equally captivated, added, "Seriously! The man has some kind of aura. I can't help but stare every time he walks by."

Their conversation took an unexpected turn as Sarah shared a fascinating tidbit. "I heard he goes to some old ancient reservoir, Stak, after work every day. It's like his secret hideaway. Can you imagine?"

Perplexed, Emily questioned, "Every day? Why would he go there?"

"I don't know, but I think he meets someone there. Who would go there every day while only a few people and tourists visit?" Sarah mused.

Emily pondered, "Maybe it's his way of escaping the chaos of the city. I bet he has some deep, mysterious reason, as many others were talking about him that they discovered him alone somewhere for hours after following him maybe its the same place you are talking about."

The scene transitions to Grayson walking briskly down the city streets, he couldn't shake the memories that resurfaced with each step .The whispers of the city faded as he reached the grand staircase leading to the historic water reservoir, a place with a history as old as the city itself.. As he ascended, memories flooded his mind.

(As the evening sun cast an amber glow over the reservoir, illuminating the scene of a carefree teenage girl approaching him. "Grayson!" she called out with infectious joy.

His heart skipped a beat at the sound of her voice. He turned to see her, she was climbing the stairs with a bright smile. )

The wind carried the scent of nostalgia as he reached the top and gazed out at the vast, ancient reservoir with fewer visitors..The memory unfolded like a delicate tapestry.

(They sat on a swan paddle boat bobbing it gently on the water. The young girl sang, "Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, Life is but a dream." Grayson laughed, the echoes of that laughter reverberating in his mind. The girl playfully pushed him into the green water, and they shared a moment of unbridled happiness.)

However, the joy quickly turned to sorrow as he remembered the consequences of that day which haunted them until she died. The wind brushed against his back, snapping him back to the present. With a heavy sigh, he sat on the edge of the reservoir, his voice barely audible.

"Wish you hadn't thrown me in that day. Maybe then, none of this would have happened."

The scene ended with the stillness of the ancient reservoir echoes his words, and Grayson lost in memories of a time when life seemed simpler, and happiness was just a rowboat away.
