Is this my death? Was I really going to die? Even before becoming a God? No! This wasn't going to be my end, even if it's my fate, I'll have to re-write it by all means.
Darkness was slowly crawling over me, my ears were closing but I was still able to hear faint sounds around me. My soul sword was shaking in my hand, I could still feel its burning anger, it wanted to do something but was also weak as its soul was connected to mine.
'Master, I won't let you die!' I heard it say in my head.
I sensed it fly away from my hand and I tried to open my eyes but they wouldn't just open, I placed my hand on my chest, trying to prevent more blood from coming out but it was pointless as the wound was deep.
Then I began to hear footsteps approaching where I was, I summoned back my sword and grasped it tightly. I couldn't see but I was able to detect where the sound was coming from.
"Kid, you are going to die any moment from now," the voice said as it approached me.

All the demons I killed weren't able to talk and even their leader don't speak so who was this particular demon and why is he able to talk? I tried to open my eyes and see who it was but my eyes wouldn't open.
"Wh-who a-re you?" I asked with a little stammer as I held on tightly to my sword.
"A friend, you can call me. Don't worry, if you are thinking about the demon, I already helped you by killing him," he replied.
"Killed him? You are a demon, why did you kill your kind?" I asked back. Aren't they all demons, why should he kill him and be calm about it?
"No! We aren't the same kinds. He is a rogue, a demon created from experiments made by evil humans while I am a pure demon. My types have nothing in common with them."
"Wh-" I wanted to ask him some questions but then I began to cough, I was becoming weak, so weak that I could barely breathe.
"You should stop talking because the more you do, the more strength you exhaust. Like I told you, I am your friend and as a friend, I won't harm you. To be honest, I was here to annihilate them all but you just did the work for me, I am quite surprised how you were able to kill them all considering how young you are. Well, enough of the talk, I'll help you with your injury and after that, I suggest you leave this place, you are the only surviving person here and as such you should leave immediately."
After the demon finished speaking, I began to feel hot right inside my chest. The hotness lasted for a short while before it finally stopped.
"Remember, not all demons are evil just as not all humans are evil. Do not be deceived by what you see or hear, only listen to your heart!" As he said this, I opened my eyes to see him but he was gone. He couldn't even wait for me to say thanks to him.
I looked around me, all the demon rogues I killed were gone and only the traces of dried-up blood was left. I looked down at my chest, it was completely healed not even a mark was there.
"So this is it?" I mumbled as I stood up weakly. There will no longer be madame Lene nor the inn ever again. I am now completely left with nothing and no one to confide in. "Tsk! What a life!" I clicked my tongue and spoke.
I turned around and began to walk back to the inn. Since there was nothing to live for in this place, I have no choice but to start all over again, the first step is by leaving this place but there was something I needed to do before leaving.
I got to where madame Lene's body is and bent over, I closed her eyes and mouth and then carried her with the strength I could muster. Then, I carried to her the back of the inn and dropped her by the side, I began to dig the ground until it was deep enough to contain her body.
"Madame Lene, I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you. You shouldn't be dead and I am sorry, don't worry, I've killed them all and will continue to do so until the very last of them is gone. I hope you are able to meet your husband over there."
After saying these words, I placed her into the hole and then covered it up. This was the least I could do for her. I walked back inside the inn and then took the money we made for the day and left the place. Looking at all the bodies lying around the place, I felt bad for them even though they never treated me well.
Well, who could have thought that they would one day all die like this, in the hands of evil demons? "Life is indeed unpredictable," I mumbled with a sigh. I shouldn't blame the dead, right? I should bury them as well so their souls will find rest.
I gathered the bodies in one spot and poured fuel on them and then I lit a fire on them. This was all I could do for them. When all these were done, I went back home and took my bath after which I packed my few clothes in one bag and set out for my journey.
