Continuing The Journey - I Became A God In A Parallel World(放开)

"What are you doing here, kid?" The man asked as he saw me approaching him.

"To help kick some asses Of course!" I replied flatly without halting my steps.

"Kid, this is no child's joke! Get back on the bus and wait patiently!" He ordered.

"And wait patiently for my death, you mean?" I asked him, causing him to look at me in displease. Still, I didn't apologise. What I said was nothing but the truth and of course, it'll hurt him knowing that what I said was just a mere fact. "I seriously do not want to die here so let's be quick with it and continue on the journey," I said and immediately summoned my sword which vibrated as it appeared on my hand.

The man was taken aback when he saw my sword appear, perhaps, he has never seen a soul sword or an ancient one.

"H-how did you get yourself a soul sword?" He asked in shock.

"It's a topic for another day. Right now, I've got some business to attend to!" I replied and rushed into the group of hungry demons.

I swiped my sword as I ran, killing whoever gets to me first. They weren't much and considering my current strength, they were no big deal for me.

Talking about strength, I am yet to check my system and that, I will do when I get to the city, there was no need to rush.

The sound of my sword could be heard as it toiled with the necks of all the demon monsters available within sight. The funniest part of it all was that they were not as intelligent as the ones I killed in my town, they lacked the ability to fight uniformly. The only intelligent one in their midst was the foolish driver who led us into their trap.

"Hey! The driver is running away!" The man yelled in fright. I turned and saw the driver running away, I tried to follow him but just then he disappeared without a trace.

"Damn it!" I groaned with gritted teeth. I had wanted to teach the man a lesson for ambushing us and now he is gone. I killed the last demon rogue and marched to the man, grabbing him on the collar. "Why did you let him go?" I furiously asked, increasing my grip on his neck.

"I-I c-couldn't c-catch him!" The man replied with difficulty while trying to pull my hand away which was impossible for him to do.

"Are you that incompetent? But you were acting like a hero earlier on, where did your fucking resolve go!" I yelled, not giving him any breathing space as he didn't deserve one. It was his fault that the driver escaped so I have to vent my anger on him.

"K-kid, if you keep holding me like this, I'll die," the man cried. His eyes were already red and I could see traces of tears on them.

"Do you think that I want your dirty blood to be on me? Follow me, I have a better job for you!" I said and began to drag him back to the bus.

As we entered the bus, the people were all quiet, only staring at me with wide eyes, I bet they were surprised at the outcome of everything.

"James!" The man's friend called but I didn't allow him to look at him.

"Take a seat!" I told him while pointing at the driver's seat.

"Y-you want me to drive?" The man questioned, expecting an answer from me but I only gave him a stern gaze and he kept shut and quietly sat down.

"We have less than an hour to get to the city, I don't know how you will do it but I want to get there in less than an hour!"

I checked my time and it was almost six in the evening, I didn't want to spend the night on the road and in a place, no one knows. "Why are you still hesitating? Drive!" I said to the man who nodded and started the engine.

I walked past the people who were still gazing at me and took my seat which was at the back of the bus. 'System, show me my stats!' I said inwardly.

The hundred available points are the ones I got from killing the hundred level-four demon rogues. I couldn't get a new skill because I wasn't the one who killed their leader but I was able to get 100 points. 'Give 30 points to agility, 30 points to speed, 20 points to stamina and the remaining 20 points to intellect!'
