It was approaching noon and so I prepared and left my home, I needed to go see madame Lene, share with her my experience in the town and also help her with the inn.
When I got to the Inn, she was serving some customers and so I quickly rushed over and took from her.
"You are back!" She exclaimed with joy all over her face.
"Yes, madame Lene, I bet you missed me!" I joked with a grin on my face.
"Haha, you don't have to make it that obvious," she replied and laughed. "Quick, come help me in the kitchen."
With that, I followed behind and gave her all the assistance she required, during the process, I shared with her the experiences I had except for the part where I obtained the soul sword as it was unnecessary to tell her.
"Kid, attend to these customers while I tend to the ones outside!" She ordered as she rushed outside of the inn. The heavens had been faithful today by bringing a lot of customers to her inn and she couldn't stop smiling as she worked. I too was happy because my pay was going to increase at the end of the day.
"Ahh!"
While I was still thinking about how much money I'll get at the end of the day, I suddenly heard a scream and the voice belonged to madame Lene. "Madame Lene!" I gasped as the tray of meals fell from my hands.
I quickly rushed outside to know what was happening and when I got there, I was shocked to see the situation of things.
Scattered all over the ground were countless bodies of men and women and even kids with their hearts gouged out and blood spilt all over the place.
"Wh-!" Petrified, I tried to speak but no words came out. My mind went to madame Lene and I began to search for her, soon, I found her among other bodies. She was dead, her heart gouged out just like the rest, her eyes were wide open in shock and her mouth wide open as well.
"Noo!" I yelled as I rushed over to her, this was the only person in the entire world that saw me as a person. She called me inside the very first day I came to her Inn seeking a job, she never looked at me with disdain just like how the rest did and she never rejected me. To me, she was a mother in disguise.
How could they do this to her? What wrong did she commit? My shock and pain turned into anger, a desire began to well up inside of me, the desire to kill whoever did this to her.
While I was bent over, I began to hear noises around, I looked up and saw many people with bloody eyes and blood all over their hands and mouth.
!Ding!
[Kill all hundred level-four rogue demons]

"Demons?" I asked as I glared at them with anger burning inside my heart, so these are the demons I've been hearing about. I watched as they marched into the inn, killing and gouging out the hearts of everyone inside the place.
"I'll kill you all!" I yelled in anger as I stood to my feet. The moment I got up, the sword appeared in my hand, vibrating in anger. It could feel my heart and I could feel its own, it knew that I was angry and I knew it was angry as well.
Some of the demons, sensing my presence began to run in my direction, all waving their sharp claws in the air, ready to claw at me. I needed not to wait for them as I madly began to run towards them, swiping my sword as I ran.
I killed anyone that first gets to me, not minding if it was a child demon or an old one. They took one thing that I cherished, and therefore I must take every one of them until none is remaining.

I kept swiping my swords as more notifications popped before my face, I wasn't getting tired rather, I wanted to kill more and more. Black blood was spilt all over my body and face but I didn't care as all that mattered to me was killing every one of the demons.
!Ding!
[Thirty level-four rogue demons killed]
After killing the entire demons in and close to madame Lene's inn, I left the place and entered into the street. As I walked, I saw countless bodies that lay on the ground, not only were their hearts gouged out but their body parts as well.
I increased my pace as I was beginning to hear noises at the front, upon getting to that place, I saw the remaining demons surrounding a particular one.
!Ding!
[Kill the level-eight rogue demon and acquire a new skill]

"Level-eight?" I mumbled, "so he is their leader? I won't hesitate to kill you!"
They all turned around and began to glare at me with their bloody eyes, the leader raised his hand and made an odd sound. At his command, the level-four demons all began to rush toward me.
I stood in a spot and watched as they ran towards me, my sword vibrated, it was impatient to begin the killing but because it could understand my thought, it waited for my instruction.
"One, two, three, go!" I yelled as I dashed forward to the first demon. I slashed his throat, causing black blood to gush out like a rushing tap from his neck, the second one came and I did the same thing. I noticed that one of them had passed me and wanted to attack me from behind.
"I hate sneak attacks as fuck!" I yelled as I pierced his throat. I kept killing and the system kept counting till the last demon.
!Ding!

Before the system could finish what it was saying, I felt a sharp pain in my chest and when I looked down, I saw blood gushing out from my chest but before I could process what was going in, I felt my eyes close.
