Victor finished peeling the large lobster, and then removed the shell from the king crab for her, taking care of her in every possible way.
"What, are you waiting for me to say that this is your ability at work? I know that, but others don't, and you can't stop them from thinking what they want, can you?"
Polly Sutton fiercely bit into a crab leg, "Thank your grandmother, or you'd be alone forever."
"Then I better make sure to thank her next time I burn incense." Victor smiled, raising his hand to wipe her mouth, and continued discussing another issue: "If that's the case, it'll be harder for your work to progress in the future."
Polly Sutton rubbed her nose, this was something she was all too aware of.
"When you first came to the island, were things like this too?"
"No, when I arrived, they were afraid of me."
Polly Sutton: "..."
"Sorry, I shouldn't have asked." Polly Sutton bowed her head to eat, regretting asking that question.
