The magical land of Xiao had not known peace since the first Megasaur stepped out of the Forbidden Forest. The seals had been broken, the beasts are free, the curse had been laid, the villagers are scared. Megasaurs were first known in the 1200s – wild beasts bearing fangs who drank Junan blood, ate Junan flesh. In the early 1200, Megasaurs, said to have ascended from the third moon, came out only during the red moon nights, when the third moon was closest to Xiao, blood red. They were birthed by Lord Zhao with the sole purpose of eradicating the Junan existence. Lord Zhao and Lord Xiang had always been at fight since Lord Xiang created Junans. They were creatures who didn't need spells to perform their magic. Lord Zhao, out of sheer hatred towards Junans who were fairly superior to other Juns, waged war when he created Megasaurs, sending them to roam Xiao. He also cast a spell over every Jun, leading them to form an army against Junans. The Junans, after years of war, finally confined the Megasaurs to the Forbidden Forest, sealing them inside. Their Zegin level magic couldn't be undone by Juns. Peace started returning to Xiao. But the spells were now broken, the beasts were free, the curse was taking effect again, the fight had changed pace, the good was losing.
The Zhao and Xiang believers always stood shoulder to shoulder, ready with a shovel to cut anybody who hurt their brothers. Lord Zhao and Lord Xiang were step-brothers who were orphaned at a young age. With the power over Xiao, Zhao and Xiang together created Juns – humans with the gift of magic. They learnt magic, perfected spells, practiced cultivating grains and fruits, and lived merrily with their children. Lord Xiang, after centuries, created Junans – Juns who didn't need spells to perform their magic. After they made Juns the rulers of Xiao, Lord Zhao and Xiang had gone back to the skies. They signed a peace consent to not create evil creatures, after which, they abandoned their powers. They let the Juns live in prosperity, sending beautiful creatures down to Xiao. Juns only ever knew peace – bloodshed was something unbeknown to them until Lord Zhao's spell was cast. Lord Zhao was the elder one among the step brothers and he never truly abandoned his powers. After he sent Megasaurs to Xiao, the Juns rebelled against the Junans. Junans though powerful, were very less in number. They wanted to maintain the peace. They held sermons, gave speeches, depicted how their powers can be used for the good, but they were constantly losing.
