An excited grin on my face, under my mask, I was practically bouncing off the walls.
For I was about to have my very first superhero team up adventure.
With the Fantastic Four no less.
Even if they didn't agree to my proposal.
Since there is no way in hell I'm just going to sit on the sidelines while Giganto continues wrecking the city and putting people's lives in danger.
If I did not only wouldn't I be able to carry the mantle of Spider-Man, but I also wouldn't be able to carry the mantle of hero.
Continuing to look at me Reed, Susan, and Johnny said nothing.
The strange silence only being interrupted when Ben contacted them over their comms.
"Hey, what are you guys doing? Having a tea party? I could use some help down here."
Hearing this the remainder of the Four were knocked out of the stupor I caused with my grand entrance, focusing back on the situation at hand.
Where just as they did Ben was knocked into a car parked on the street by Giganto, with a slap from its right hand.
Then right after it accomplished this the beast began pulling itself out of the hole it had created even further.
But knowing how relatively big Giganto was, and knowing what potential damage it could cause if its entire body made it to the surface, there was no way I was about to let it continue with its actions.
"Oh no you don't you reject Kaiju!" I shouted.
Then with a burst of speed I jumped off the Fantasti-Car and dove straight for Giganto.
Specifically right for the spot between the beasts eyes.
Where I delivered a double kick.
My attack thankfully knocking it slightly off balance.
Smirking at this under my mask I continued my assault.
Shooting out weblines I hit Gigantos' arms, working to gun up its movements
Where just as I finished Ben returned and like a cannonball launched himself into the beasts chest, his attack doing much more than mine as it sent Giganto toppling over.
"Timber!!!!" I exclaimed.
Landing on the ground next to Ben.
The Fantasti-Car arriving at our position a second later.
Leading all of us to be together and watch as Giganto landed flat on its back.
"Looks like it's true what they say. The bigger they are, the harder they fall." I quipped.
"In no small part thanks to you, Spider-Man." Reed said to me.
"Yeah, good work webs." Ben said.
"Ah shucks, enough. You guys are making me blush." I spoke like an embarrassed school girl.
"Dude, no. Just no." Johnny said.
"Oh come on. That was funny." I replied.
"Only to you maybe." Johnny retorted.
"Boys, not the time for a joke debate. Since in case you've forgotten we still have a giant monster to deal with." Susan chimed in.
"Yeah, right. So, you guys have any idea why a giant monster just came out of the Earth?" I questioned.
Though I'm pretty certain I knew the answer.
Even if the Fantastic Four don't.
Given despite being active for four years the particular villain in their rogues gallery associated with Giganto hasn't made his appearance.
Wait.
Since that's the case it means not only have I just had my team up with the Fantastic Four but I'm also about to help them battle a new villain for the very first time.
Nice.
"Nope." Johnny instantly replied.
"Though for the past few weeks we've been tracking seismic anomalies across the globe on behalf of the United Nations. But they disappeared almost as quickly as they appeared, making it difficult to pinpoint their exact cause. So when we detected one here in New York we came to personally investigate." Reed explained. His gaze shifting to the still laid out Giganto. "Though I never dreamed the cause of those anomalies could be an unknown and entirely new species. The implications around this are simply astounding." He spoke with a passion. "I wonder-"
"-Reed, honey. We can discuss this all later." Susan spoke. Cutting him off.
Good.
Since I'm sure Reed was definitely about to go off on a scientific tangent explanation.
"Oh yes, of course." He replied. "You're right Sue. We can examine and study this creature in depth later. For now our first priority should be securing it so that it no longer causes issues for and-"
Reed was saying.
Only to stop when another earthquake suddenly began out of nowhere.
Only since Giganto was still on his ass it wasn't being caused by him.
Though the Fantastic Four and I got an answer as to what was causing it a few seconds after it started as a drilling machine burst through the surface of the street like the Kool-Aid man would burst through a wall.
Then the second it came to a stop numerous compartments of the vehicle opened up, and what came flooding out of them was none other than the moloids of Subterranea.
Along with an extremely short and pudgy man wearing green tights, that unfortunately showed off all his curves, some strange goggles, a tattered cape, and wielding a wooden staff in his right hand.
"Here me surface dwellers, your days of domination are over! For today is the day you begin to kneel to the might of Subterranea. So sayeth I its exalted leader. The Mole Man!" Harvey Elder exclaimed.

"Pfft!" I couldn't help but laugh.
Johnny joining me.
"Mole Man. Seriously." Johnny spoke.
"Like your one to talk, Human Torch." I said.
Earning me a slight glare from Johnny. "Yeah, because Spider-Man is so much better."
"At least my hero name has man in it." I retorted. "Unlike somebody's whose sounds like it was created by a 2nd grader."
"Hey!"
"Boys!" Susan said. "Again, not the time." She spoke. "We've got bigger issues."
Susan being absolutely right.
Since the moloids were running right towards us.
Harvey also directing some of them to help free and assist Giganto.
"We can't let this go on." Reed spoke. "Susan, you're on crowd control. Make sure none of those creatures escape the immediate vicinity. Johnny, Ben, Spider-Man you're with me. We'll take this army down, along with this Mole Man."
"So, that means I'm in?" I asked.
"Well you're already here and have insinuated yourself into this conflict, so I see no reason to dismiss your assistance."
"Translation, yeah you're in spider." Ben spoke. "Now enough talk. It's Clobberin Time!"
"Hell yeah!" Johnny exclaimed. "Flame on!"
He then shot into the air.
Raising her hands Susan instantly created a force field bubble around the immediate area.
Once she did me and the boys charged in.
More than ready to send Mole Man back to the center of the Earth from whence he came.
