The Black Cat.
Also known as Felicia Hardy.
Here she is, standing right in front of me.
While I'm doing my utmost to keep the spider leg in between my legs from rising like the morning sun.
I can't but be both excited and embarrassed at the same time.
So once again, fuck puberty.
"Is something the matter bug boy? Does a cat have your tongue?" Black Cat asked me.
"First, no. Because the only cat around here is standing right in front of me. Second, spiders aren't bugs but arachnids. Meaning they fall into the same category of the animal Kingdom as species such as scorpions snd lobsters." I clarified.
"Well thanks for that interesting little tidbit." Black Cat said. "Now, goodbye."
She then threw several objects onto the ground that instantly exploded when they hit it. Leading to the balcony instantly being blanketed in black smoke.
Meaning smoke bombs.
A trick that would've worked on a normal Spider-Man.
But not a superior one.
Switching my lenses to infrared mode I was easily able to track the Black Cat.
Who reached the edge of the balcony and then took a leap of faith without any hesitation.
But knowing what I knew about her character, due to my previous life, I didn't panic and instead calmly followed her lead.
Running and then leaping off the building exactly as she did.
Leading me to see her swinging away using a grappling hook.
So I shot a line of web line in her direction and swung after her.
Easily catching up to her.
Black Cats eyes going wide in shock when she finally noticed me.
"Hello again." I said to her. Giving a smile wave.
Right before I swung into her, leading us both to crash onto the roof of a nearby building.
Where we then tumbled, our bodies becoming slightly entangled, until we came to a stop.
Though in a rather awkward position.
As I found myself sitting atop the Black Cat.
Who suddenly had a smug expression on her face.
"Oh my, seems someone is excited." She spoke.
"Well when faced with a beauty like you who wouldn't be." I replied.
Glad my mask was on so Black Cat couldn't see the slight blush on my face.
"Pervert."
"I don't want to hear that coming from a thief." I immediately replied. "Also better luck next time." I said.
Then before Black Cat could ask what I meant I hit her with just enough force to knock her unconscious.
Having trained myself to do so in the past few months using practice dummies.
After waiting a few seconds, to make sure Black Cat wasn't faking being knocked out, I stood up and then began searching her, seeing if I could find whatever she took from that penthouse.
Which I eventually did.
A small bag of diamonds.
Once I had them in my possession I moved to leave.
But not without leaving the Black Cat a little parting gift.

(3rd Person: POV)
"Ugh, what hit me?" Black Cat asked.
As she opened her eyes.
"Oh that's right. Spider-Man." She muttered.
Remembering what had happened.
Until something caught the Black Cat attention.
An object in between her eyes.
Reaching up she grabbed it and looked at it, finding it to be a sticky note.
One wirh a small message written on it.
"Dear Cat. Better luck next time. But don't let me catch you again. Otherwise I'll seriously turn you over to the authorities. Or not? You won't know. Until we meet again that is.
Sincerely, Spider-Man."
After reading this Black Cat instantly squished it between her fingers.
Feeling equally parts embarrassed, annoyed, and excited by Spider-Man's message to her.
"Just you wait Spider-Man. Next time we meet I'll give you a memory you won't ever forget." Black Cat spoke.
Before standing to her feet and firing her grappling hook.
Swinging off into the night.

(Peter: POV)
"Welcome back Peter. Did everything go well?" Spinner asked me.
The second I stepped into the Web.
"Relatively speaking." I replied. While putting up my original suit in its holding case.
Along with storing the sample of adhesive and sample of solvent I took from the Trapster earlier at the prison in the science fridge.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked.
"It's like this." I began. After sitting in the chair in front of his terminal.
I then explained the entire incident at the prison.
Along with my entire with the Black Cat.
"I see." He mused. When I finished recounting the events of the past few hours. "I can see why you are troubled. Having two known criminals coming after your life doesn't do well for ones stress levels and anxiety."
"Tell me about it." I replied. "But that's the price I pay for being Spider-Man so there's nothing I can do about it."
"You could quit." He mused. "But I can reasonably assume you'd never do that."
"Not unless the worst of scenarios forced me too." I said seriously.
But even then I might not stop wearing the mask.
"And those scenarios would be?" Spinner asked curiously.
"Let's get to know each other a bit better before I share all my secrets." I said.
"Of course. Now then another question. Why did you allow the Black Cat to go free? You caught her breaking and entering, and then fleeing the scene of the crime, did you not?"
"I did. But listen Spinner, most things aren't black and white. Even though most people try to pretend they are. But that's a lie they tell themselves so they don't have to make certain choices. But I'm one of those people that doesn't. Yes, the Black Cat stole, but I didn't sense any true malice in her actions or from her in general. That's why I let her go." I explained.
Another big reason given what I know about her character thanks to my foreknowledge.
But even Spinner isn't ready to know that. However one day I might share my secret with him.
In fact he might be the only being in this universe I would.
"But if she escalates I won't hesitate to take her down." I said. "Anyway enough about me, how are you doing?"
"I am well. Just...perplexed. Especially by humans. For you all have the capacity to commit the most heinous and vilest of acts against each other, but at the same have the capacity to show immense kindness and selflessness."
I shrugged at Spinners words. "All true. We humans are bundle of contradictions. But I think that's one of our greatest qualities. On that note I'm heading home for the night. I'll see you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow, Peter." Spinner replied.
So with that I left the Web and headed home for the night.

My left hand over my mouth I stifled a yawn.
Ignoring the chatter of my fellow classmates around me.
For it is the next day and I'm currently in her room.
"Late night Pete?" Harry asked me.
"Something like that." I replied.
Right as the teacher walked in. "Okay students settle down." He said.
The students settling down a few seconds later.
"Thank you." He spoke. "Now before we begin today's homeroom I have an announcement to make. A new student will be joining us today." He turned his head towards the door. "Come in."
A second after the teacher said this the door opened and a student walked in.
A beautiful female with ashe blonde hair and stunning green eyes.
Who looks like the actress Katherine McNamara from my previous life.
"Everyone this is Felicia Hardy." The teacher spoke. "Make her feel welcome." He said.
Me putting a wry smile on my face in response.
For my luck truly is something that I meet Black Cat last night and suddenly come face to face with Felicia Hardy this morning.
Well at least I can say my life is never boring now.
