The Rot, the withery liquid from the ocean that ruined all life on this dammed planet. It's a silver and white liquid that had originated from the center of the North Atlantic Ocean that had webbed out and hit the coast of Canada, North America, and South America. Then it hit Greenland, Iceland, Europe, and Africa. it went and stretched around the entire damn world. it didn't do any harm at first, it was even seen as a good thing. Many people who were sick from illnesses were cured, plants and animals grew strong and healthy, and it was pretty. Then it seemed everything started to wither and Rot away. Most of the world had consumed it in some way. People and animals were fine still, or so we thought. It was forcing all creatures to adapt and evolve to handle the Rot.
The land had been torn apart and is being constantly moved and reformed by the Rot. It seems to refuse to take hold over everything though, as there are several areas that it leaves as safe spaces and only attacks people with infected creatures or by water connected to the ocean. The Rot has also made a promise to the survivors of the world that it will not enter or affect safe spaces, and that if 100 people make it to HAVEN that it will leave to never return. The Rot is very intelligent and it likes to let people know, it sets traps and hunts people down with infected animals. The Rot withers all and enjoys the suffering of humanity.
