In the middle of a beautifully decorated room, stood an even more beautiful woman. She had pin-straight, silky black hair that reached her lower back, pale skin that appeared to glitter, and a perfectly proportionate figure. Upon closer inspection, she has a beauty mark on the high point of her left cheekbone, under the corner of her eye. A small, straight nose and plump, wine colored lips. She was clad in a black, floor length dress that hugged her curves and matched the black walls and made her skin glow like that of the polished marble floors. Her eyes were shut tightly and she seemed to be focusing greatly on something; with her elbows bent slightly to the sides of her body, in a meditative position. Suddenly, she opened her lilac eyes that seemed to have lightning flashing violently inside of them. Her fingertips had lightning zapping between them and everyone else in the palace suffered the weight of the static in the air. It took their breath away. This girl is Princess Seraphina Devi-Rose Duval of the Purple Eclipse Pack. Seraphina is a Lycan and the only daughter in the royal family of the pack. The royal family of Purple Eclipse is made up of Lycans and some regular werewolves. Lycans are the purest and most ancient of spirit wolves in the werewolf hierarchy. Then comes alphas, betas, gammas, common warriors, and omegas. Most Lycans receive gifts from the Mood Goddess herself in the form of full control over an element (or two if you're lucky). People who control more than one element are very rare and always go down in history as legends.
When Seraphina finally snapped out of her daze, she looked towards the large wooden door of her bedroom and sighed as she heard two sets of feet stomping in her direction. She didn't even have to sniff them out to know who it was. As if on command, the door flew open and two people came barreling in, excited as ever. It was Seraphina's best friend, Katherine Amelia Lane, and older brother, Axel Warren Duval. "You did it, didn't you? You broke through again!" Katherine "Kitty" screamed, far louder than necessary with their advanced hearing. "Fuck yeah Sera! I can't wait til you're in Academy so I can brag about my badass sister. You've made me proud!" Axel said like the dotting big brother he is. Sera just smiled at the purple lightning dancing in her palm and said "Level 5 lightning isn't bad huh? But I still have 5 more until I reach full control." She pouted. The other two just looked at her like she was crazy until they realized it was exactly like her power hungry personality to think such things. In reality, level 5 at her age was mind blowing. She's a prodigy. "How's your ice coming along?" Axel asked. Sera glanced at the wall, making sure her sound proofing wards were activated before answering, "Still level 6. I was planning on going to the Ice Continent in hopes of some enlightenment." The trio walked and talked as they headed towards the large terrace and sat at an outdoor table for tea. "The Ice Continent, huh? Isn't that place dangerous? I heard it's mainly rogue territory." Kitty stated as she sipped her tea elegantly. "That and Silver Moon territory," Axel butted in. Sera gazed at the horizon while she spoke "I have some friends in Silver Moon, so I'd be safe in their territory without worry of rogues. I know Silver Moon wolves have a bad rep but they've inhabited the Ice Continent for centuries and rogues have always been a pain for them. They're simply protective and untrusting." Silver Moon Pack is made up of a specific breed of wolf known simply as silver wolves. These wolves are easy to spot anywhere other than snowy terrain due to their pale silver fur. Most of them also posses further enhanced abilities such and speed, strength, smell, sight, and hearing. While these aren't as powerful as elemental or magical abilities, they still prove useful in a fight. Their territory remains small because they prefer snow all year round and choose to reside on the smallest of the continents, the Ice Continent.
