Clair's Final Goodbye left everybody in tears, Joy loses her good friend. But Before saying Goodbye to her Dear Friend, Clair left something for Joy, A letter that she wrote for Joy just a Day before she died.
It was 4 AM, As Joy opened Clair's letter to read, Drake came running to the locker room and said in a tensed voice, " Joy, You need to come right now with me".
Joy looked at him in dismay wondering what now has happened.
" What Happened Drake," asked Joy.
" someone called for Clair, they said they were speaking from Hope orphanage home in London, they said that Clair was an orphan and was living alone all theses year, she does not have any family, They won't be able to come to get her body and asked if they could do her funeral, but now the hospital is sending her to the morgue so that students could use her body for studying later," said Drake.
" What,? She was an Orphan? No, they can't do this to her" said Joy with anger in her eyes.
Joy wanted her friend to go with all ritual that needed to be performed, she can't just let them take her away for studying so that they could cut her open.
" No, they can't take her, I am her friend, her sister and I won't let anyone take her away," said Joy.
joy went running to where Clair's body was kept, she said to Drake that they can't just sit back and let this happen to Clair.
" You can't take her body Doctor Ryan, She is my friend and I will do her Funeral" Said Joy. there was the rage in Joy's eyes.
" Please Doctor Ryan, Please Let me take her body, she was not just my friend, she was a sister to me" begged Joy.
Doctor Ryan looked at joy begging for his consent, he paused for a moment and then said, " All right! You can take her body".
Joy thanked Doctor Ryan for allowing her to take Clair's Body. then for Clair's Funeral, she went to write out what she needs.
As Joy sat on the chair in the cafeteria , Joy wondered, " I don't have enough saving, I did save some for Lisa's College fee but If I withdrew it then how she would help Lisa, but Clair's Funeral is Important right now, What should I Do".
As Joy took out her money to check how much she has, Drake, Peter came forward ad put their share of money on the table in front of Joy.
" What is this? You don't have to pay for her funeral, I would manage it" said Joy.
" She was our friend too, Joy, we are equally into this with you, if we did this, we would feel like we did something for her," said Drake as he sits beside Joy.
" Yes, Noona! Clair was my friend too, so here's my share for her funeral" said Peter.
Joy thought for a second and wondered that Clair was not her Friend Only, Peter and Drake equally share the Grief of losing a friend, they might feel better if they help in Clair's funeral, so Joy let them contribute.
Joy first went home, She checked on Lisa and then she told her about Clair, and went to the market for Funeral preparations.
Joy Prepared for Clair's Funeral at the Hospital, She bathed her and put a White beautiful dress on her.
Clair was looking so beautiful and calm. everybody was gathered around Clair to say one last goodbye to her, there were tears in everyone's Eyes.
But Joy was not crying, She knew that was not what Clair Wanted her to do, Clair wanted Joy to let her go in peace and keeping her happy memories with them.
it was a long day, Joy did all the work at the funeral and now she was tired, but she could not rest because she has a lot of work to do.
when the funeral got over it was already 7 PM. Joy went to the Rooftop to get some air before her Night shift Starts.
Walking by the side of Rooftop wall, she looked at the sky, saw the stars brightening in the sky said, " Happy New year Clair, Are you happy there? I guess, you are, there's no pain right?"
As Joy said that she put her hand in her Uniform's pocket and felt like a piece of paper in it.she took it out.
Uh? Its Clair Letter, I could not read it in the morning and then I got too busy in the funeral, I didn't get the time to read it, I should read it now, What Clair wanted to say to me?" Joy wondered.
joy opened the letter and sat on the bench to read it. Joy's Name was written on the top.
the Letter Says:-
" Dear Joy,
I don't know If I would be able to see another day of my life, but there was so much I wanted to talk to you about. I won't have that much time, So I am writing this letter to you.
Joy, I was an Orphan, I never saw my parents, I never had family that I always wished to have. I loved a man for a very long time but always too scared to tell him about my feelings. Finally, I decided to tell him the way I feel about him and wished that now I too would have my own family, but Before I could do that this disease destroyed everything. I ran away from him, I regret my decision Joy.but when I met you, I found a family in you.
I am telling you all of this Joy, Because I want to you to understand that true love knocks on the door of few people and when you don't open the door of your hearts to let it come in then it just disappears in the dark, and all we could have is regret.
I know Joy, there are so many responsibilities on you, You can't deny them, you can't turn your back on them, but besides them, you have a life too, A life where besides Pain and Hardships you would have love and care for yourself.
you need to give yourself a chance Joy, there so much in your life besides your sister and Mama, You need to look around and find that Love.
I don't want you to regret it like me, Joy, I want you to let have all the love and care you deserve,
You had done so much for your sister and Mother, Now its time, that you live for yourself too and have the happiness that you want.
I hope joy you found someone, who would love you with so much passion and care, who could embrace you, who could hold you in his arm and tell you that he could do anything just to be by your side. who would be with you in your hard times, just to tell you that no matter how hard times get, he would always be right behind you so that, if you fell, he would be right there to hold you? who would love you for who you are?
He could be anywhere Joy, right beside you, or far from you and when you find that person Joy don't make the mistake that I Made and just hold him in your arms for forever. just give your life a chance to be full of happiness and love.
When I am Gone, I just want you to remember this piece of advice of mine and give yourself a chance, I know you are strong enough to do anything, you don't need anyone to help you out, But sometimes you too need a shoulder to cry on, to tell you that It's Okay, everything would be fine, and hold you, so when you find him, give him a chance and don't let go of him because of your responsibilities.
your Family is not your only Responsibility, allowing yourself to be happy and get some love for yourself is also your responsibility Joy.
I would Pray to god, he gives you all the happiness and love you deserves my Joy".

As Joy read the letter her eyes were filled with tears, She was crying. Clair letter was not just any letter, it was something that might Change Joy's life forever.
After reading it Joy was stunned, she was holding Clair's letter in her hand, wondering about Clair's Piece of advice.
Clair's words kept crossing her mind, She understands what Clair wants her to do, but she was also scared about what if she did any injustice to her family, If she allowed herself to have some love and happiness for herself. If that love and happiness in her life become the biggest mistake of her life.
As joy sitting on the bench at the rooftop was so lost in her thoughts, Drake came up and said, " Hey Joy, see I got coffee for you".
As Joy heard Drake, she hurriedly kept the Letter in her pocket and said, " Hey! Thank you, how did you know I would still be here?"
" I know you, Joy, I knew that after the funeral, you must be at a place, where you could be alone with yourself and your thoughts, and the rooftop is the best place for you, and you must be so tired, as you were all busy in the funeral, so I thought A cup of coffee would help you a bit to relax". said Drake in cheerful voice to cheer her up.
" Thank you, Drake," said Joy. " Oh! Here? you were so busy today, that you didn't even eat anything, so I brought you some food before going to the night shit, Don't forget to eat it, Okay? " said Drake.
As Drake said that Joy looked at him in an amazed way, She wondered how could he remember so little things about her, even after I rejected his feeling and asked him to remain just a friend to her, Why he is always so caring towards me.
All the things that Drake did for her, saving her life when she got locked out at the rooftop, helping her out when she was having a hard time because of Lisa's Problem, or when she lost Clair, he was always there right by her side.
Joy was confused, she does not know what she should do? should she accept Clair's Advice and let her give a chance to be happy, and figure out what she feels for Drake.
Or should she just left it the way it is, because she doesn't want anything above her family even her own happiness?
Would Clair's letter bring love to Joy's life and would help Joy to be happy again?
