Joy made Clair's Christmas full of happiness. Clair was happy, she never thought that she would be able to enjoy the rest of the days on earth this way.

Peter asked the Nurse to bring the Strecher and brought Clair to her bed, Drake, checked her Vital's Sigh and made sure she was breathing normally.
What happened? Drake, asked Doctor Ryan as he entered the ward.
"She coughed blood and then she collapsed on the ground, her heart rate is not normal and breathing too," said Drake.
we need to perform a biopsy on her right now, He asked the head nurse to prepare the Operating room and went in for the surgery, Joy just sat outside the Operating room, waiting for Doctor to come and tell her that Clair was going to be okay.
Joy's present situation brought her old painful memories of how she was waiting for her Mom's doctor outside the room, just to listen that her mother was okay. Joy did not want the answer to be the same for Clair. She joined her hands to Pray the Almighty to save Clair, but inside her, She knew Clair does not have much time left.

After sitting there for while Drake asked joy to come with him and let Clair rest. they both left to the cafeteria for the coffee.
Joy went to her night-shift as it was her work and she can't leave it because her friend is sick and needs her.
joy went to her work, she finished her Nightshift and went to her home. Joy was worried about Lisa, but now there was Clair too. Her head was filled with millions of thoughts.
joy couldn't sleep well, she woke and had breakfast with Lisa and left early to work. she bought flowers for Clair on her way to the hospital.
Joy reached the hospital, she changed into her uniform, took her cleaning stuff and took the elevator to 10th floor. Joy looked for Clair.
Clair was lying in her bed, she seems, more weak and down. She was hiding her pain behind her little smile.

" No, It was a great Party, everyone Enjoyed so much and it was all because of you, If you wouldn't have asked for it, then we would have never know how fun it could be to celebrate Christmas at the hospital Clair, and you know what, We would celebrate our New year too in this hospital with everyone," said Joy hiding her tears behind her smile.

As Joy Say Clair, She went near her and called her out in soft and low voice, " Clair! Clair, My friend, I am here! I am here, see, Please look at me, we have a lot to do tonight Clair, there's only some time left for the new year to begin, How we are gonna celebrate it if you would do that, said Joy holding her tears.
Clair opened her eyes, took a deep breath as if she was saving her few breaths just to talk to Joy, She looked at Joy in agony and said, " I am sorry Joy, I couldn't make it, and I don't wanna leave without saying goodbye".
" I just want to say, meeting you here was the best part of my life Joy, I wished, if we had met a long time ago, then I would have a lot of time to spend with you, I am so great to have you as my friend Joy, you were not just a Friend to me, you were like a sister to me that I always wished to have," said Clair with tears in her eyes and breathing heavily.

As everyone said there Goodbye to Clair, Drake came running to the ward, He saw Clair taking her last few breaths, He went near her and said goodbye to her.
Clair asked Drake to Come closer as she wanted to say something to her, as Drake went bent to go closer to Clair she raised her head a little and said in a low voice so that no one could hear them, " I know you love her deeply, but Promise me, You would love my dear Joy forever the same way you does now? you would never hurt her? Promise me? doctor Drake".
Drake was stunned at Clair's word, he thought how could she know about what I feel for Joy, I never told anyone? but he looked at Dying Clair and said, " I Promise you, Miss Clair, I would always love her, and won't ever hurt your dear Joy".
Clair said Final Goodbye to everyone and took her last breath in peace, she was dead, there was no heartbeat, no pulses, Doctor Ryan checked her and declared her dead.
Joy was devastated, she could not see, Clair lying dead, she ran out from there and went to her Mama's Room, Drake knew that Joy needed him right now, she won't say that but she needs him, he followed her.

Drake saw Joy Crying hard He opened the door, and said, " Joy, please don't cry, this is not what Clair asked you to do, she wanted you to remember her, and smile, she never would have wanted to you cry like this because of her, as Drake said that joy hugged him crying so hard, and said, " I Know she wanted me to not cry for her when she is gone, But I can't do that, Drake, it's hard, said Joy she was not thinking straight she was sad and just wanted someone to hug her and comfort her, so she looked at Drake and hugged him tightly, she was crying, her tears were felling from her eyes, they were not stopping.
" Okay! Cry, Cry as hard as you want to until you feel better, I am here for your joy, but After this, you won't ever cry for Clair, you promised her that when she is gone, there would always be a smile on your face and no tears., okay?" said Drake.
Drake Hugged Joy to comfort her, Joy felt too relaxed in Drake's arm, she cried for a while on his shoulder and then wiped her tears.
