Joy got a friend Dumboo in Drake and was happy, Drake was happy to be the one with whom Joy can share everything.

Now Joy no longer tries to Avoid Drake, She was becoming more comfortable around Drake, and she has no idea why she feels that way around Drake. was that because she finally had a friend to rely on or because she was felling for Drake and has not realised it yet, Whatever It was but They were happy being around each other.
Joy had her best graduation and she was all set to get a good and permanent job with a high salary that would help her get Lisa into a big college.
Joy applied to many different companies, some Rejecter her application and some put her on hold?
A month passed, Christmas was coming and Joy still had no permanent job, she was still working her 2 Part-Time Jobs, and Day-Night shift at the hospital.
Lisa was getting Impatient day by day, she would get angry at Joy sometime, joy was trying hard, Lisa knew that her sister is doing everything she could to help her out, but Lisa was so depressed about the idea of getting into a big college that she wasn't able to see Joy's love and her sacrifices for Lisa.
Joy tried to talk to Lisa while having Breakfast in the morning," Hey princess! What is wrong? I have been noticing you, something is bothering you, you always spent your time in your room, your exams are over, why don't you go out with your friends and hang out, you would feel good".
" Hangout with friends? so that they could make fun of me because I don't have money like them, I am Sorry sister, Maybe you could hear those things, But I can't I don't wanna go anywhere, I just want to lock myself in my room" said Lisa looking depressed.
" why you are giving them so much importance? I know Its hard for you little but we would get through this, Once you pass you exam and gets the scholarship, you could get into a big college and nobody would say that you and once I get a job, paying your fee won't be an issue any longer, we just need to have some patient Lisa" said Joy with a hope in her eyes that Lisa would understand what she is saying.
But Lisa just interrupted Joy, "Oh! Please, Sister, a month has passed since you Graduated but you still haven't got selected at a single company, If you would have graduated from a big renowned university, its name would have been enough to get you a high paying job, but I guess this is how we are gonna live our rest of the lives".
Joy was shocked at Lisa's words, " Lisa, I promise you, I won't ever let you sacrifice anything that you want or because of our situations, I know I haven't gotten a job yet, but I will don't worry, and the result of your college scholarship exam hasn't come yet, Then why you think that you would end up like me in city small college?"
Lisa just bowed her head, she was angry, she did not want to answer Joy but as joy kept telling her to be patient and wait for the results and stop getting these thoughts. Lisa stood up and just shouted, "Because I failed, I failed the scholarship exam, and I am not getting it, I am not going to any college, are you happy now? my all hard work was in vain. "
When Joy heard that Lisa didn't pass her scholarship exams, she went to Lisa and hugged her and said, " so, this was bothering you all this time? It's okay if you didn't pass, I know you you did your best, Please don't put too much pressure on yourself, Lisa, I am still here for you, I won't let your hard work go in vain, you would go to that college, and I promise you, I would do anything to let you reach there and achieve your dreams."

Joy went to her Part-Time Jobs, and then to the hospital, Joy was sad, she was angry there too many emotions flowing in her at the same time. She met Clair, Peter, finished her work, but she was all lost in thoughts of morning's Incident with Lisa.
Joy finished her day shift and thought of calling Lisa to check if she was fine, she tried calling her but Lisa kept rejecting her call.
Joy sighed heavily and went to the rooftop, she sat on the bench and wondered, " Why things can never be easy for me, How I am gonna Manage to get all that money for Lisa's Admission." Joy's eyes got teared up.
While Joy was wondering about all of it, Drake came holding two coffee and sat beside her and said," Hey! you are sitting here? I thought we would meet down, but you were not there so, I thought you might be here, have your coffee ."
As Joy heard Drake coming to her, she wiped her tears and said, " Hey! hmm… I was coming down, Why did you come here?"
Drake looked at Joy and felt something was wrong her voice sounds like she was worried, he asked her If she is okay?
Joy hesitated and said, " yeah I am fine., I am good". But Drake knew that something was bothering her, she always sits alone, when she is sad or something bothers her, and this rooftop is the best place. He knew if he asked Joy again she won't tell what is wrong.
So, he stood up, stepped away from her, tuck out his shirt, messed up his hair and got down on his knees, seeing Drake this way Joy said, " what are you doing Drake?"
Drake laughed at first, came walking on his knees to Joy, then said, " Hello! Joy, I am your Friend Dumboo? Do you have a problem, my friend, tell your dumboo". Seeing Drake all acting like Dumboo, a little smile spread over her face.
She looked at him and paused, she took a deep breath, turned to him and said, " Its Lisa, She couldn't pass her Scholarship Exam, She wanted to go to this London University but now, I don't know what I am gonna do, I promised her that I would do anything to get her into that college, but I have no idea How I am gonna do that, I can't see her giving up on her dreams, just because her sister is not capable of doing anything for her" said Joy holding in her tears.
" You have done a lot for her Joy, and she knew that you sacrificed your life for her and she is so lucky to have you", said Drake (the Dumboo).
"But, I want her to be happy and I tried but I failed Dumboo, You know, I thought that If I graduate I could have a job with high salary and our all problems would be solved, But it doesn't seem like that, Our life is still the same. When I was in high school, I too wanted to go to a big college, but I couldn't.
I thought I wouldn't let Lisa go through what I went through, I wanted to give her every happiness that I couldn't get. I promised mama that I would always take care of her, But I failed, I failed her Dumboo" said, Joy.
Joy was grieving, her heart was in pain. She looked at Drake paused for a moment and said holding her tears, " I am scared Dumboo, What If Lisa hates me, I couldn't do anything for her, what if she resents me for not helping her out, What would I tell Mama that I couldn't take care of Lisa. I am scared what if could not do anything and she leaves me, I can't lose her Drake". Joy said that she couldn't hold her tears.
Drake stopped Joy, He wiped her tears and said, " shh!! Joy stay calm, You are thinking too much, she would never leave you, she loves you, you are her sister and she knows how much you have sacrificed for her, and she could never resent you, and, and your mama would always be proud of you joy" you are the best person I have ever met in my life Joy".
Drake wanted to hug grieving Joy to make her feel better, he looked at Joy and said, " Hey!! Dumboo friend, do you want a Dumboo hug? and he smiled, Joy looked at him and said," can you do that Dumboo?"
Drake said Yes, and he hugged Joy. he held her in his arms for a while.
Drake wanted to help Joy, Even though he knew he could help her out, he didn't ask Joy to let him help her, Because he knew that would make Joy upset. So he just remains silent and holds her in his arms just to make her feel better.
"so, feeling better now? or d you need another Dumboo Hug?" said Drake smiling to cheer her up. "Hmm, feeling better now, Thank you Dumboo, Thank you, I felt great after talking with someone."
they both finished their coffee and went down. As Joy and Drake were passing through the hallway on 1st floor, Drake Saw Embrey coming from the other side, he stopped Embrey and asked Joy to go first and said that he would come later.
Joy left first to her work. Drake waited for Joy to left, he then turned to Embrey and said," Hey! Embrey how you doing?"
I am fine Drake, How come you want to talk to me? asked Embrey.
" Why are you friends with Joy, You are not the kind of person who would befriend with an employee so lower in position than you", what are you trying to do Embrey?" asked Drake suspiciously.
Why I can't be a friend to Joy, Drake, what do you think what kind of a person I am, Do you think I became a friend with Joy so that I could harm her? as Embrey said this she paused for a moment and a wide evil smile spread over her face.

Drake pushed her away and said, " why you are doing this Embrey, Why you are getting Joy into this, She thinks of you as her friend, don't hurt her Embrey".

And I won't ever let that happen, Drake. said Embrey.
" She never came between us Embrey, you are the reason why we are not together, so Don't involve Joy into all of this, And don't you dare hurt her Embrey," said Drake with rage in his eyes.
"Oops! but I have begun my revenge against her, and I am gonna make her suffer Drake, If you love her then try your best to save her from me, who do you think locked her out at the rooftop, I did that drake, and It was just a beginning drake, Just wait and see what I am gonna do to her, You made a mistake Drake, Choosing her over me, that stupid girl, who thought I was sorry about my behaviour and accepted my Friendship, she permitted me to hurt her by getting trapped in my friendship thing," said Embrey Laughing out loudly.
Drake was angry when he heard that Embrey was the one who locked Joy out at the rooftop, he seemed so angrily, he hit the wall with his fist and said, " you locked out her, She thinks of you as her friend and this is how you treat her, She could have died there Embrey? If I had didn't find her on time, she could have died there? You are a monster Embrey, I never thought you would go this low, and if you weren't a girl, I would have slapped you, Embrey".
Drake left the place in anger, he could not tell Joy about this, because if he did then he would have to tell her Why Embrey did that, He was angry at Embrey but was also worried about Joy. He needed to show Embrey's true face to Joy but he can't do that. He just wanted Joy to be safe.
" I won't let Embrey hurt you again Joy, This is all my fault, I won't let anything happen to Joy".said drake to himself.
Drake after knowing Embrey's truth was worried about Joy, He can't see her getting hurt. Joy was worried about Lisa, she was trying hard to be the best sister to Lisa but was getting failed.
would Joy Manage to Help her sister Lisa out or this incapability would draw the line of resentment in Lisa 's heart for Joy?
Embrey wants to hurt Joy at any cost, she did think twice before locking her out at the rooftop, would Embrey stop there, or was she planning something else to hurt joy more.
