Chapter 30 - carlit’s choice

Kalon lay in his newly dug burrow, his consciousness sinking into his spiritual sea. The energy accumulated in the psionic vortex had been used up in his last self-enhancement, and now not a single drop remained.

Kalon discovered two more strands of mental power connected to the psionic vortex, though he didn't know who had established these psionic links. However, these two strands of mental power were faint, and the mental power they could draw was minimal.

Most of the psionic power connections with the Dragon Clan and Kobold dependents still existed, but perhaps because the distance was too great, Kalon could not perceive the objects to which the mental power belonged, so he could not determine the specific situation of the Young Dragons.

Kalon then immersed his consciousness into the information that had condensed into a bloodline talent after his enhancement, and several pieces of information were displayed in a form he could understand.

Bloodline Solidification - Overlimit Growth: All aspects of your body's qualities will achieve maximum growth within your bloodline's growth range, and your own potential will be developed to the fullest.

Bloodline Solidification - Psychic Overclocking: Your powerful mind controls your body to enter a certain overclocking mode, allowing you to freely exert all your power and abilities.

He was very satisfied with these two enhanced bloodline abilities. The former made him a well-rounded warrior among the Dragon Clan, with every aspect being the optimal solution currently allowed. In the face of this bloodline ability, all potential would also turn into tangible talent, which was undoubtedly an extremely powerful growth ability.

The latter, on the other hand, allowed him to fully exert his combat ability when needed. This was also an ability Kalon obtained after much thought and experimentation. One must know that for any creature, whether it can exert all its abilities depends on many factors, such as courage, will, and physical health.

This ability allowed Kalon to maintain his combat ability even when he was at a disadvantage in certain aspects. In his eyes, this was far more useful than an extra magic spell.

Finally, what satisfied him most was that this attempt proved that the direction of psionic enhancement could be controlled by himself, which was the most important thing.

He squeezed his flexible left claw with his right claw. The Dragon Clan claw opened, flexed, grasped, and moved freely, clearly much more agile than before. Ever since using Psychic Overclocking, he had retained an impression of that feeling, vaguely sensing that his body's agility had also improved somewhat. Perhaps using this ability more would give him an unexpected surprise.

Immediately, Kalon's consciousness returned, and his perception detected the creatures visiting outside the burrow.

Sunia, the Centaur, arrived outside the cave with the Centaur warriors who had been following her a few days ago. However, this time they were not carrying weapons, but rather offerings from the Centaur Tribe to the Dragon Clan.

As the strongest warrior in the tribe and the child of Kari, the leader, Sunia's status among the Centaur was already very high, not to mention she was also one of the strong contenders for the next tribal leader.

So when she returned to the tribe and informed them that a Red Dragon had appeared in the Centaur's hunting grounds, the Centaur took it very seriously. These Centaur were not as crazy as the Ogre; tribes that could survive and thrive in the wilderness also had their own ways of survival, not solely relying on force.

Therefore, the Centaurs decided to befriend this unfamiliar Dragon Clan. On one hand, it was because, according to Sunia, this Red Dragon was not difficult to get along with. On the other hand, the Centaurs also hoped to use the Dragon Clan's power to resist the Ogre who had always wished to enslave and eliminate the Centaur Tribe.

At the very least, they couldn't let this Dragon Clan cause any trouble in the Centaur's territory, and it could also serve as a supervisory role.

So, Sunia thought of the task given to her by the tribe, took a deep breath, eased her nervousness facing this red Dragon , and called out, "Lord red Dragon , are you there?"

...

The White Dragon Germott was in a miserable state. His severed tail was tied with thick vines and hung high on a wooden frame. All his limbs were bound, his head faced the ground, and only a pair of wings could still move and struggle.

Perhaps those Ogre just wanted to see the Dragon Clan struggling helplessly. Aiersu hid in the tent with his guards, secretly peeking out. He didn't want the Dragon Clan to know that this idea came from him, lest it make future interactions with the Young Dragon difficult.

The Ogre Tyrant Morgor used a whip specially made by Warlock Black, soaked in venom, to lash Germott's body repeatedly. The fine scales on the White Dragon Clan's body were shattered, his skin torn and flesh exposed, while the venom on the whip caused the Dragon Clan to feel an itching pain from the bones, making his muscles uncontrollably twitch, and the intact scales on his body constantly opened and closed.

"I have to say, you arrogant Dragon are really stubborn. If you don't agree to cooperate, you'll just suffer for nothing. Those Young Dragon who escaped won't have the courage to save you," Morgor's huge single eye was filled with the pleasure of tormenting his opponent, and the force of the whip in his hand couldn't help but get heavier with each strike.

"Kalon, ugh," Germott gasped, "He will get revenge for me." The young White Dragon struggled to utter a few words.

"If he dares to come, I'll just let him taste my big axe, hahaha." The Ogre didn't care about the White Dragon's stubbornness and swung the whip down forcefully.

Germott, who didn't want to scream in front of these lowly Ogre, bit his fangs tightly, a trace of blood oozing from his mouth, and his ice-blue vertical pupils turned crimson. Finally, unable to endure the bone-deep pain and itching, White Dragon Clan Germott closed his eyes and actually fainted from the beating.

"This Young Dragon is too weak, can't take a beating." The Ogre looked at the two Blue Dragon, who were also hanging, with an unsatisfied expression, then walked over with a sinister smile, stopping without hesitation in front of Blue Dragon carlit. Morgor squatted down, patted the Blue Dragon's beautiful head, and asked, "So, are you willing to cooperate, or do you also want to try my whip?"

"Peh!" If Carlit hadn't had her magic and Evil Dragon Blood suppressed by sorcery and human mages' potions, she would have long since sprayed a breath of Dragon Clan fire.

Heh heh, Morgor let out a strange laugh. He wiped his face, then lowered the hanging Blue Dragon Kalite, walked around Carlit twice, and then suddenly lashed out with the whip.

Aargh! Carlit's head shot up under the sudden sharp pain, but her weak and powerless limbs were bound and could not exert any force. Her entire Dragon Clan body trembled.

Morgor, however, seemed to have unleashed his bestial nature. The whip began to dance, striking the humiliated Blue Dragon Kalite, who lay prostrate on the ground, causing her muscles to twitch erratically and her scales to uncontrollably open and close.

The Blue Dragon's screams made Morgor increasingly excited. The brutality and bestial desire in his single eye also began to surface. The Ogre panted heavily, eyeing the Blue Dragon's body from behind.

"Hmph, I really want to see what race an Ogre and a true Dragon would give birth to." Morgor vigorously swung the whip while beginning to approach the Blue Dragon.

"Ah! I agree to cooperate! Get away from me!" Blue Dragon Kalite, who had endured physical torture, shrieked.

True Dragon's do not normally have a concept of chastity. They are more open than most creatures in the Aikania World. Some true Dragon's in heat would even mate with Kobolds.

Carlit actually just couldn't accept a lowly Ogre standing in a position of dominance and inflicting violence, treating her like a slave. Furthermore, she as a Blue Dragon was still in her adolescent stage, not yet fully sexually mature, or perhaps, this could also serve as an excuse to escape.

Because, according to statistics, less than one-fifth of the Five-Colored Dragon in the Aikania World live to adulthood. The Good female Dragon's fare much better.

Most of these Five-Colored Dragon die in their youth, and the protagonists of most circulating Dragon Clan-slaying feats are Young Dragon, with the White Dragon's topping the list. On one hand, this is because Young Dragon's are quite active, and their rapidly increasing strength makes them very reckless.

On the other hand, adolescent Dragon's are far less controllable than Young Dragon. Even if caught, they will be killed rather than kept alive. From this perspective, Tiamat, the Evil Dragon God, does not favor the Five-Colored Dragon as much as she claims.

If Carlit was not obedient, and not as easy to control as a Young Dragon, she would be killed.

"Stop, King Morgor, this Blue Dragon has already agreed to cooperate with us, hasn't she?" Aiersu, accompanied by the mage and guards, hurriedly stopped the increasingly agitated Ogre. Now was the time to gain the Dragon Clan's favor, and his intervention was just right.

Morgor glanced disdainfully at the merchant and did not obey. The Ogre's powerful desires drove his already limited brain, but the physiological structure of Dragon Clan and many other creatures was quite different, and he temporarily couldn't figure it out.

The one-armed Two-Headed Ogre Black walked out of the quiet large tent. The Ogre Warlock, old enough, no longer possessed the vibrant vitality he once had. From now on, he would forever be a one-armed Ogre.

His hoarse voice brought the Giant Monster's opinion, "Stop, Morgor. The Blue Dragon's cooperation is very important to us. We need to eradicate those escaped Young Dragon, otherwise, the longer we drag it out, the more danger the tribe will be in the future."
