Chapter 34 - Chapter 34 – Sean Begins Preparing for Voldemort

Sean suddenly pursed his lips and asked quietly:

"Malfoy… do you want to join the Quidditch team?"

Malfoy instantly shot upright like lightning.

"Of course I do!"

His voice was so loud that the entire classroom froze.

Professor Flitwick blinked in surprise from the front podium.

"What exactly do you think, Mr Malfoy?"

The surrounding Gryffindors burst into laughter immediately.

Malfoy's face instantly turned red.

"S-Sorry, Professor."

Professor Flitwick merely shook his head helplessly before continuing the lesson.

Meanwhile, Malfoy leaned toward Sean excitedly.

"Boss… can I really join?"

Sean nodded casually.

"You can think about it carefully first. Training will be exhausting."

Then he added calmly:

"I'll speak to Professor Snape later."

Malfoy nodded so hard his head nearly snapped off.

"No need to think! I want to join!"

Sean merely smiled faintly and stopped speaking.

But inwardly, his thoughts had already drifted elsewhere entirely.

.....

The moment class ended, Hermione immediately ran off toward the library again.

Sean didn't stop her.

Instead, he headed directly toward Snape's office.

Knock—

Then Sean immediately pushed the door open.

Snape slowly looked up from his paperwork.

"No dramatic entrance this time, Mr Sebastian?"

Sean sat casually on the sofa.

"Next time for sure."

Snape snorted coldly.

Then Sean explained his purpose directly.

"Professor Snape, I want to rebuild the Slytherin Quidditch team."

Snape narrowed his eyes slightly.

"And?"

"I want Malfoy to become Seeker."

Snape's expression immediately became strange.

"Malfoy?"

Then he asked bluntly:

"Your reason?"

Sean answered without hesitation:

"Because his father is rich."

Snape paused.

Sean continued calmly:

"If Malfoy joins the team, Lucius will immediately replace all Slytherin equipment with the newest brooms."

His tone remained perfectly serious.

"And our current Seeker hasn't achieved anything impressive anyway."

Sean shrugged lightly.

"There's no loss in trying someone new."

Then he added meaningfully:

"People should always have the courage to experiment."

Snape stared at Sean silently for several seconds.

Then he simply lowered his head and continued writing.

A moment later, he handed Sean two signed papers.

"The first authorises replacement of the current Seeker." Snape's voice remained cold. "Give it to Marcus Flint."

Sean accepted the document.

"And the second?"

"Pitch access approval."

Snape finally glanced upward again.

"You may use the Quidditch grounds for private training."

Sean's eyes brightened slightly.

That actually saved him considerable trouble.

Just as Sean reached the door, he suddenly paused.

Then he turned around casually.

"Professor Snape."

Snape looked annoyed already.

"What."

Sean smiled brightly.

"Could you teach me Sectumsempra?"

Silence.

Snape's feather quill suddenly ripped straight through the parchment beneath his hand, leaving a huge ink stain.

His eyes narrowed dangerously.

"No."

The atmosphere instantly became colder.

"That spell is Dark Magic."

Then Snape spoke word by word:

"And students are forbidden from learning it."

Sean didn't appear disappointed at all.

Honestly, he'd asked purely on impulse because Snape happened to be in a relatively decent mood today.

If it worked, great.

If not, no loss.

After all—

Even if Snape refused to teach him, Sean still had ways to obtain the spell eventually.

"Thanks anyway, Professor."

Then Sean casually left the office.

As he walked through the corridor, Sean quietly muttered to himself:

"If you won't teach me now… I'll just learn it another way later."

.....

Sean had only just started heading back toward the dormitories when the familiar burning sensation suddenly appeared in his palm again.

He immediately looked down.

Hart's meeting request.

But this time—

Sean frowned slightly.

"Hart wouldn't contact me during daytime unless something serious happened…"

Without hesitation, Sean immediately sprinted toward the nearest bathroom.

By the time he arrived, he was breathing heavily.

After all, he'd practically run halfway across Hogwarts.

The moment Hart appeared, the goblin immediately shouted anxiously:

"Master Sean! Something terrible happened!"

Sean's expression sharpened instantly.

"What happened?"

"It's Gringotts!"

Hart looked moments away from collapsing.

"Gringotts was robbed!"

Sean immediately relaxed.

Honestly, he'd feared something happened to his parents or the insurance system.

A Gringotts robbery?

That was practically expected.

"Calm down," Sean said calmly. "Who knows about this so far?"

Hart swallowed nervously.

"O-Only the vault guards."

Sean nodded slowly.

"Good. Then the situation is still manageable."

Hart stared at him blankly.

"Manageable?!"

The goblin nearly screamed.

"Master Sean, you don't understand!"

His face looked horrified.

"Gringotts has never been successfully robbed in thousands of years!"

"If this information spreads, wizard trust in Gringotts will collapse completely!"

Sean sighed helplessly and rubbed his forehead.

"Hart."

The goblin immediately quieted.

"Who told you Gringotts was robbed?"

Hart froze.

"What?"

Sean calmly explained:

"Today, Gringotts held a secret anti-theft emergency drill."

Hart blinked blankly.

"The goblin guards performed excellently and successfully apprehended the simulated intruder."

Sean's lips slowly curved upward.

"The exercise was a complete success."

Several seconds passed.

Then suddenly Hart's eyes lit up brilliantly.

"Yes…"

A grin slowly spread across his face.

"Yes! It was just an exercise!"

But moments later, his expression darkened again.

"Still…" Hart lowered his voice seriously. "If someone really infiltrated Gringotts once, it means a flaw exists somewhere in our defences."

Sean neither agreed nor disagreed.

"Do whatever investigations you want."

Then his gaze sharpened slightly.

"But understand this clearly."

Sean's voice became quieter.

"The person behind this robbery isn't ordinary."

Hart instinctively stiffened.

"It was Voldemort."

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Hart's face instantly turned deathly pale.

"T-The Dark Lord?"

His voice trembled violently.

"That's impossible! He's dead!"

Sean lazily stretched his arms.

"As far as I know, he won't truly die for a very long time."

Then he casually changed the subject.

"Forget that for now."

His expression became calm again.

"When you return, Daily Prophet reporters will definitely appear."

Hart nodded nervously.

"So perform the act properly."

Sean's eyes narrowed slightly.

"The fewer people who know the truth, the better."

Hart immediately nodded repeatedly.

Then suddenly, his expression became savage.

"In that case… I'll kill the guards who witnessed it."

Sean nearly choked to death.

"Cough—!"

He stared at Hart in disbelief.

"Who told you to kill anyone?!"

Hart blinked blankly.

Sean rubbed his forehead painfully.

"Just let them retire quietly and return home."

Honestly, goblin problem-solving methods were terrifyingly straightforward.

Then Sean continued calmly:

"Also, announce that Gringotts' first external commercial project is about to launch."

Hart immediately became serious again.

"I'll send investment information soon," Sean continued. "Distribute it to every wealthy family interested in cooperation."

Then Sean pulled a strange object from his pocket and handed it over.

"You can also mass-produce and sell this."

Hart accepted it curiously.

"What is it?"

Sean smiled faintly.

"A distraction."
