Chapter 7 - Chapter 8 The Giant Axe Pirates! Defeat and Disbandment!

Chapter 8 The Giant Axe Pirates! Defeat and Disbandment!

"Well done, head chef!"

The Blood Axe pirates, witnessing this scene, cheered, their morale boosted.

"Big brother!"

"team leader!"

The pirates aboard the Chef George exclaimed in surprise, and several pirates who were on good terms with Via jumped into the sea without hesitation.

"Avenge the captain!"

"Kill him!"

The remaining pirates, looking fierce and menacing, all charged towards Lister.

"Defeating" Via gave Lister confidence, and he used both fists to knock down all the henchmen.

With no enemies in sight, Lister let out a long breath. The intense battle had taken a toll on his stamina. He wiped away his sweat and moved closer to Charles and Coleman.

"Head Chef, can we win?" Charles swallowed hard.

Lister's efforts relieved the pressure on the Bloodaxe, but on the other side, things looked even worse.

Facing Zeff's legs, which could easily shatter rocks and leave marks on steel, Wieger was completely at a disadvantage. His clothes were stained red with blood. Although he was still struggling, it was clear to everyone that defeat was only a matter of time.

Old John and the first mate were the most badly injured, each with knife wounds, but the first mate was more seriously wounded.

Hansen and Sieg are in similar situations to Wiegel.

Klick, his broadsword gleaming, grabbed a young crew member carrying a shield and whispered, "Baru, do you want to go down with the Bloodaxe?"

Baru gripped his shield, trembling, and shook his head vigorously.

"Come with me, now."

Krieg and Baru secretly lowered the small boat, but by the time the Blood Axe pirates discovered them, it was too late.

"Damn it, that coward Klee!" Coleman cleaved the barrel in two with his sword and cursed loudly.

Lister patted him on the shoulder, signaling him to calm down. Pirates are not armies. Pirate crews like Shanks and Luffy, bound by friendship, are ultimately a minority. Most are based on interests and the captain's strength. Once defeated, their morale collapses.

"Whoosh..."

Wiegard was panting heavily. His former partner, Blood Axe, now felt incredibly heavy in his hands. His face was covered in blood, and Zeff's shoes, which were also stained with blood, were visible in his vision.

"Head Chef, you've dropped a thousand pounds!"

Zeff leaped into the air, kicked out with his right foot, and with the force of his body, created a whirlwind that landed on the sluggish and deformed Wiegard.

Bang!

Zeff stepped on Wiggle's body, smashing through the hard floor. Wiggle fell into the lower cabin, while Zeff soared into the air again, like a seabird flying through the sky, landing on the railing and looking down at the pirates.

Wiegol is defeated!

Cheerful shouts erupted from the Chef George ship, and Hansen and Sieg, who were still struggling to hold on, closed their eyes and collapsed to the ground.

Old John sighed upon seeing this.

"I am willing to hand over our treasure."

When Zeff, who had just walked over, heard what Old John said, glanced at the first mate lying on the ground, and said, "You deserve respect!"

"Kid, I heard you're the head chef? Would you like to board my ship?" On the island, Zeff watched his men carry away the treasures accumulated by the Giant Axe Pirates and extended an invitation to Lister beside him.

Via covered her cheek and said gleefully, "Come on, my friend, you're finished!"

Old John, Hansen, and the others had complex expressions, while Wieger, wrapped in bandages, looked somber.

"Thank you, but I need a peaceful life," Lister politely declined.

Zeff shook his head and said no more. The Chef Pirates had not only invited Lister, but he had also decided to head to the Grand Line to find the legendary "ALL Blue." The crew of the Giant Axe Pirates would be a good addition.

What a pity!

Via first shook his head, then clenched his fist: "I'll remember this humiliation, and I'll come back for you!"

The Chef Pirates absconded with the Giant Axe Pirates' treasure, taking with them new crew members who were willing to join them, including Boatswain Hansen and Captain Moby, singing cheerful songs as they sailed away.

On the beach, Wieger glanced at the seven remaining crew members, his tall frame hunched over, as if he had aged ten years in an instant.

If the Chef Pirates are defeated, the Giant Axe Pirates will instantly become famous; otherwise, they will be swept into the dustbin of history and their names will not be left behind. In fact, if Lister had not defeated Via, perhaps more people would have died.

He sighed, "The Giant Axe Pirates are disbanded!"

"Captain…" Sig said anxiously.

Wiegard shook his head: "Stop talking. This time I'm sorry, everyone. I acted recklessly. I have some valuables elsewhere, which I will share with you. As for the Giant Axe Pirates, let them become history!"

He turned and walked towards the coconut grove, dejected and disheartened. Not everyone can withstand the torment of failure.

"Uncle John, why don't you try to persuade the captain?" Sieg looked at old John.

Old John shook his head and remained silent.

At night, in the coconut grove, by the campfire, the island became exceptionally quiet without the drunken chatter of the pirates.

Liszt dug out the large "stone" from the charcoal fire, knocked off the outer layer of soil, peeled away the thick layer of bay leaves, and the aroma filled the air.

"What is that?" Sig sniffed and leaned closer.

"roast chicken?"

"Try it!" Lister took a piece of chicken that had been cut off.

"Delicious, so fragrant!" Sig exclaimed.

Lister called to the others, "Come on, everyone, have a taste."

As slices of chicken were cut off, the sound of fingers being sucked echoed through the coconut grove.

"This is delicious! How do you make this?"

"Head chef, you can go open a restaurant now."

The atmosphere gradually warmed up, and Sieg, holding his drink, suddenly asked, "Captain, what are your plans?"

Wiegel paused for a moment, then said, "I'm going back to the Western Sea. I've been away from home for almost two years; it's time to go back and see you. What about you?"

Old John took a sip of his drink: "I'm not leaving. I'll live here."

Old boatman Bud looked at him and said, "Shall we keep each other company?"

"OK!"

"Charles Coleman?" Wieger asked.

"I'm going back to the village, Cocoyasi Village, a beautiful place. You are welcome to visit," Charles said.

"I don't think the villagers will welcome us; we're pirates," Old John said humorously.

Everyone burst into laughter.

Coleman said, "I'm going back to Shimotsuki Village, marrying a kind girl, and I'll tell my children our story."

"Sig? What about you? Are you going back to your village too?"

"I'm going to Shells Town."

"Go find your lover?"

Sieg rolled his eyes, hooked his arm around Lister's shoulder, and said, "How about coming to Shells Town with me? We'll open a hotel restaurant, you be the head chef, and I'll do all the odd jobs. Trust me, we'll become the hottest restaurant in Shells Town!"

Lister exhaled a breath of alcohol: "No, I plan to stay on the island for a while."

Today we sing songs on the sea, tomorrow we will go our separate ways. Parting is always sad. Even Liszt, who rarely drinks, got drunk in such an atmosphere.

"goodbye!"

"goodbye!"

He hugged Charles, Coleman, and Sieg in turn, and said goodbye to each other.

Wieger chatted with old John for a few words, then came over and patted Lister heavily on the shoulder.

They will sail on the Bloodaxe, now without its skull and crossbones flag, to the nearest port in search of a new life.

Old John, Budd, and Lister waved and watched the ship sail away.
