Chapter 1 - The Divine Princess of Nexoria

In the 1600s, there was a vast kingdom in the southern corner of India named Nexoria. It was a small state, but it was ruled by a King and Queen named Draven and Eloven.

The kingdom was situated along the seashore. Their realm was quite unique and filled with immense peace and prosperity. The people lived there happily. Because of the ocean, everyone loved the coast; people would go there to watch the waves and take walks. Queen Eloven loved the seashore dearly. She would frequently visit the beach with King Draven. Both the King and Queen were very kind-hearted.

The local people admired their King and Queen greatly. Because of their compassionate nature, the royal couple helped the citizens immensely. Whenever a crisis arose, the King and Queen knew exactly how to rescue the people, how to protect their kingdom, how to ensure full security, and how to keep everyone happy—and they managed it all exceptionally well.

After some time, a joyous event occurred in the kingdom: Eloven became pregnant. Now, the kingdom was to be blessed with a new Prince or Princess. The entire state was overjoyed. Everyone began saying that a God or Goddess was about to arrive among them.

Queen Eloven, however, was thinking differently. She felt that the life within her was something divine. She felt she should do something special for her child. She used to read the Bhagavad Gita. During her pregnancy, she performed great penance (Tapasya) and devoted herself to the Divine. After nine months and nine days, a little girl was born.

This baby girl was incredibly beautiful. Everyone cheered at her birth. Her birthday was celebrated throughout the kingdom like a grand festival. To the King, it felt as though Goddess Lakshmi herself had entered their home. Everyone was ecstatic. The girl, her eyes, and her smile were like a beautiful dream.

After a few days, she was named Vedangi. The name Vedangi is associated with knowledge, the soul, and truth. The name signifies a pure, calm, and mysterious personality—one who walks the path of truth and righteousness (Dharma), and possesses a strong inner and divine energy.

The girl gradually began to grow, but she was not like other girls. From childhood, spirituality attracted her deeply. She loved reading books. She was always lost in profound thought. She was very kind, and her heart was full of love. She wanted to do something for the world. Though she was a Princess, she was a divine soul inside. She felt she was someone else, someone truly different. She considered herself unique and had thoughts far beyond her age. She would ask herself, "Who am I? What is my purpose?" Her thoughts went far beyond the ordinary.

She wasn't just interested in science, but in thoughts beyond science: Why are we born? What happens after death? Why have we come here? Who are we? Does the soul really exist? Are there Gods? How will we know all this? How to find the mysteries of the world? What are the various secrets of existence? She would constantly ponder such things.

She always tried to find answers to her questions in old, ancient books, but she couldn't find them easily. However, by reading constantly, she became very intelligent. Even if she didn't find direct answers, she understood a lot. She would go to the edge of the sea, look at the ocean, get lost in thought, and ask herself her own questions. The sea attracted her immensely. Later, she realized that all of nature fascinated her. This was a bit mysterious for her. She felt, "I am a bit mysterious." She found great joy in looking at the sea, wandering there, walking through the forests, reading books, and gazing at the night sky. She didn't understand why this happened.

One day, she asked her mother, "Mother, who am I, and why does this happen to me?" Her mother told her, "When you were in my womb, I practiced all those spiritual things, and that is the result you are experiencing now." She wondered, "How can that affect me? I didn't know anything at that time." She tried asking many people and her friends, but she realized that she was truly different. Her world was different from the world of others.

Gradually, she turned ten years old, but her thoughts were like those of grown-ups—actually, even beyond them. She wanted to learn so much and discover so much. For this, she asked her father for books and requested to go outside to study. But she was a Princess; she had to manage the kingdom. The King said, "I will bring you all the books, but you cannot go outside to study because you have to look after the kingdom."

She was young, but very wise and unique; the King and Queen knew this well. They were concerned about her life, but they also knew she wasn't on the wrong path. Her path was different, but it was the true path—one connected to all of life. It wasn't just about one human, but about everyone on this planet; the whole Earth was connected to her thoughts. Her parents constantly felt that their daughter would surely do something great, so they didn't pressure her much and allowed her to do what she wanted.
