Chapter 5 - about the world

She set out for her home once again with her horse. As she was traveling along the path, she saw a butterfly. She liked it very much, but she did not catch it. However, the butterfly actually flew and came near her. When she extended her hand, the butterfly came and sat on her hand. She felt immense joy. She saw spirituality even in that moment. But in a short while, the butterfly flew away. Even then, she did not catch it because she had realized that love is not about holding on, but about setting it free. She knew that it was something she liked, but one should not keep a liked thing captive; one should keep it free. When something belongs to us, it comes to us on its own, but if it is not ours, it does not come to us.

As she began to move forward, she saw a rabbit stuck in thorns. She got down from her horse, went near it, removed the thorns from its body, and set it free. At that moment, she felt very happy. The thought came to her mind that helping others is the greatest virtue, but one should not worry about the fruit of the action, and she moved on.

From the forest, she came to her kingdom. She was very happy to see her beautiful kingdom again. She went to her palace. Her parents were waiting for her in the palace. They were very happy that their daughter had returned. they saw that she had changed—a different glow, a divine form. She told her parents many things—what she had learned, what had happened. She was telling everything with great joy, and her parents were listening with equal happiness. They said, "Now your dream is fulfilled, isn't it?"

She said, "Yes, the dream is fulfilled, but something still remains."

Her parents said to her, "Now you are twenty years old; the age for marriage has come. You will have to get married, child. This is our custom and everyone has to do it."

This time she did not get angry. She was calm. She listened and said softly, "Fine, I will fulfill your wish, but I have a condition." They asked what it was. She said, "Yes, I will marry, but I will do it after two years. Not immediately, but after two years. Is that okay?"

Her parents looked at each other but later said yes, because for them, the fact that the girl who was never going to marry was at least agreeing to it was a big thing. They were now relieved of the worry about their daughter's marriage. They knew their daughter was very clever, beautiful to look at, and anyone would be charmed by her divine form; therefore, they were not worried about her future. However, they knew that even after marriage, she would not leave this work. They decided that putting pressure was not their job; let her do whatever she wanted to do.

She had understood a lot about spirituality, but she also learned about many gods and many religions. At that time, she came to know about another religion, which was Buddhism. There was spirituality in that religion too; it was a bit different, but meditation was the main tool. She knew that Buddha had attained this knowledge through great penance. She gathered a lot of information about Buddha and learned that there was a lot about him in the northern part of India as well.

She began to study different religions. She realized that religions are made by humans. There is spirituality in them, but in this spirituality, some rules have been made by humans themselves. These rules were not made by spirituality, but by humans. For example, the custom of marriage is different in different religions; there are different customs after death in different religions, as well as different customs after birth. But spirituality is one, and all this has been created by man. However, Vedangi does not consider it wrong.

She began to study the spirituality within religion further. She understood that every human has a relationship with one another, there is a previous birth, and there are people in our lives. New people coming into our lives, old people leaving, some staying permanently, and some staying for a short time—this is not scientific but spiritual; these are connections and means of learning.

There are sorrows in every human's life because every human learns through those sorrows. Those sorrows make them experience something, teach them something; they are not there to give punishment but to give lessons.

She also understood that the divine form is within everyone, but it has to be awakened. Once awakened, it becomes visible outside of us.

Moksha is getting out of the cycle of birth and death. Birth and death are for learning and for giving the fruits of our karma; yet, one has to get out of this, which is achieved by attaining Moksha. Moksha is achieved by choosing the spiritual path through meditation.

Vedangi also understood that divine powers exist and they work for us. We never see or understand them, but they are there and they do a lot for us; we just have to understand them. The whole universe is working for us.

She studied a lot about the birth chart (Kundali). The journey of our soul's plan is in that birth chart. The birth chart shows the position of the planets based on our birth time, birth date, and birthplace, and from that, how this whole universe will work for us—meaning, what changes will occur in our lives based on the position of the planets or what our soul wants to do.

This means that this universe, these planets, and what is outside the earth are connected to our lives because they and we are not different. The universe is within us and we are in the universe.

She also understood that our thoughts can change us. We become what our thoughts are. Whatever we think starts manifesting in our lives and becomes a part of our life. When we think, it starts taking root in us, and when it takes root in us, it takes root in the universe, and what takes root in the universe takes root everywhere. And when it takes root, the things around us also start changing.

We think that we want to do a lot, but there are things around us that do not let us do it, and because of that, we remain the same all our lives and do nothing. But when we change ourselves and turn ourselves in that direction, the things around us also start changing.

She also realized that no one person has been able to gain the complete knowledge of this world to date, but no one has stopped either. Everyone is chasing knowledge little by little. But it is absolutely true that no one has been able to gain the knowledge of the entire universe to date, and no one ever will.

There is a lot of speaking even in silence; there is a lot of magic in it. Even when we say nothing, we say a lot in that silence.

We are not the body; we are a soul. This body is here today, it may not be there tomorrow, but this soul is eternal.

Everything changes—be it science or history—nothing is permanently stable. The universe, society, people—everything is constantly changing.

We are all connected. Every thing affects the other; nothing is completely separate.

We create the meaning ourselves. The meaning of life is not prepared from the outside; a person creates it through their own experiences.

The things we are actually searching for outside are actually within us, and we spend our whole lives looking for them outside.

You, I, and nature are all part of the same consciousness.

True peace and joy are not outside; they are inside.

If we work on our shortcomings, they become our greatest strength. And if we start living with the help of what is very powerful within us, we will go very far.

Always say thank you for having enough, because some do not even have this much. Try to find joy in being satisfied with whatever you have.

There is a reason behind everything; nothing happens without a reason. Even if something happens unexpectedly, it is a wonderful power of destiny. Destiny brings things suddenly into our lives because we suddenly have to do something different.

Only our thoughts, our speech, and our behavior are in our hands; everything else is not. Therefore, do not keep expectations from anyone; keep them only from yourself and do it for yourself.

Vedangi always used to tell such things to others. she used to feel very happy when she told these things to others. She felt that what she learned was being useful somewhere.

Vedangi still wanted to gain more knowledge. She knew that gaining this knowledge wouldn't lead to a dead end; if she got the next birth, then what she gained in this birth from the universe...
