"That's not what I'm nervous about."
Sienna looked ahead, where the grand three-story mansion stood proudly beneath the evening sky.
"I'm nervous because of my son, I mean our son—"
Her fingers unconsciously tightened around his hand.
"This is the first time I'll see him again after knowing from you that Skylar is from my seed and womb. That he is the son I never knew was mine…until now."
Zachary understood immediately.
He didn't interrupt or try to reassure her with empty words. Instead, he simply gave her hand another gentle squeeze before guiding the car toward the front entrance.
The vehicle came to a smooth stop.
Before the engine was even turned off, the front door opened.
A small figure stood waiting there with the brightest smile she had ever seen.
Skylar bounced excitedly on his feet, unable to hide how happy he was that they had finally arrived.
Zachary smiled as he looked at Sienna. "Go," he said softly. "Welcome him."
