Chapter 34 - Ch 34: Woods villa

After the wedding, they moved to Woods Villa—a property Leon had personally designed for her.

It was far from everyone.

Just the two of them… and a few staff members to attend to her needs.

An entire floor had been turned into a library—shelves stretching from wall to wall, filled with books he had carefully chosen, remembering every small detail of what she liked.

Leon didn't rush things. He approached her slowly.

Mornings were quiet. They had breakfast together. By evening, he returned from work, only to find her buried in her books, lost in a world of her own.

And at night—

They shared the same room. She was never openly expressive, never overly warm… but Leon noticed the small things. She didn't pull away.

The way she stayed.

The way her presence felt… settled when he was near.

It was enough.

For now.

He could wait.

He would wait.

Months passed, Mira began spending more time in the small garden behind the villa—a space she slowly turned into her own. Flowers bloomed. Fruits grew.

Leon adjusted himself around her world. Work became secondary.

He shifted most of it online, choosing presence over distance.

Choosing her.

They began talking more. Small conversations at first.

Then longer ones. Lighter ones.

The days grew warmer.

Brighter.

Then August came.

She was rushed to the hospital.

The tension. The waiting.

And then—

A cry.

Mumu was born.

Leon held the child in his arms, his hands were trembling as he looked down at him.

So small. So fragile.

His... our.. child..

A strange, overwhelming emotion broke through him.

Tears slipped down his face—hot, uncontrollable.

He didn't stop them.

He couldn't.

For the first time, everything he had built, protected, held onto so tightly—

Felt… complete.

He turned to Mira. She was asleep, exhausted.

Then he leaned down and kissed against her forehead.

With mumu and her sleeping near him, he felt a silent promise was made.

The phone rang on the bedside table, pulling Leon out of sleep. He blinked against the with half-closed eyes. He took the phone,

"Leo... where are you. Her vital signs have improved." Leon disconnected Finn's call. He looked at the phone wallpaper, their adorable family of three. He rode back to the hospital.
