Chapter 15 - Chapter 14: My students

Ken

This village is nothing but peaceful, everyone is kind and respect each other like family. Although it's a small population, they've quite a big heart. Choosing this village as a resting spot didn't seem like a bad choice, overall, l'm happy with the living conditions.

Arthur has grown so much this couple of years we've spent with each other, his skills are improving faster, maybe one day reaching or even surpassing my level. He may be impatient, lacks control over his own emotions, and blame himself for failing at the simplest thing but, he's one clever kid.

I'm still mad that he hid my existence infront of his parents, can l atleast get credit for being a good teacher, it hunts me every night. I don't kids always spill beans but,

I don't just admire his intelligence, but how he uses it in training or when speaking to elderly people, he's so well mannered. It's like he has a mind of an adult, he is quick to understand stuff and uses it as an advantage to improve his skills.

Though, l'm still not aware about his technique, l don't know if he's confused or being for real, but l can't doubt him.

His cage has a larger reserve of divine energy than any adult l've seen, at his level, it would seem unlimited though having limits. Once he fully controls his energy then he could effectively use divine energy to do anything. The minds allow one to create anything they want simply using divine energy, divine energy consist of creativity and critical thinking. Creating one's shape and use.

For now, as l'm training my students, l'm also training myself. It's best that their teacher is strong to have more lessons packed for them. I'm only ten but having the mentality of an adult, some adults in this village don't want to dream big, infect all of them.

They just follow what the government has in store for them, l don't want to grow up being fed fish by others, l need to learn how to fish, and survive this world.

My current goal is getting stronger, home my sword skills, and probably find a great sword along the way, then fight the world's champion. Can l do all that in a span of nine years? I don't want to rush anything, l'm not the type. Nine years is just enough time to have honed my skills. Travelling through the dragon continent will take longer, that's the biggest let down.

"Hiyah!" I yelled slashing down a tree.

Sooner or later, l'll leave these kids to survive on their own. I can't stay with them any longer, l wish to see them grow, but leaving would encourage them to grow up and embrace for the outside world. I don't know if they might stick with each other, Arthur is the problem, he doesn't easily want to be around anyone especially if they are noisy like Blake, Iris on the other hand might annoy the group to the core. This is one terrible trio.

Though with time, as they build their relationship and understand each other rather than fighting all the time, they have potential of becoming the strongest. Even becoming a hunter...

That's too dangerous for them.

But who am l to decide their next move? I just hope they become one once they're ready, knowing Arthur that's an impossible task. It's like telling him this technique take them years to master, which he'd try to perfect it in a month.

"Classic Arthur."

Anyway, the name l carry might impose harm in this village if l stay too long. That's why l've to start my journey, as soon as possible, before 'they' arrive.

I have a slight feeling someone won't be happy with me leaving, knowing him, l doubt he'd let out a single drop. He's a wierd one, especially for someone his age...
