Stella Sterling hadn't put her stool and chair away.
She sat in her chair, one hand propping up her head as she leaned on the table.
She gazed with great interest toward her left.
'Looks like these people were nearby. They must have heard the noise over here and are following the sound to investigate.'
'Sneaking over in the middle of the night after hearing a noise... their intentions are obvious.'
She tapped her fingers lightly, then gave a bored yawn.
'Looks like more people have come to offer up their lives.'
When Andrew Shaw heard the commotion, he was initially very alert. But after seeing Stella Sterling's reaction, he relaxed.
He moved to stand a little closer to Stella Sterling.
His gaze, however, was fixed on her.
'Right, what's there to be afraid of? With Stella Sterling here, those people are the ones who are going to have a bad day.'
For a brief moment, he pitied them.
'Why are they wandering around at this time of night instead of sleeping?'
