"Didn't you say the original female lead's luck had run out? What the hell is going on? Why am I the unlucky one? Me?!"
"Host, I warned you about hacking into your father's communicator. You were the one who insisted! The system issued repeated warnings. Actions have consequences."
"No, how was I supposed to know the consequences would be this severe?" Huang Shi Yao was practically hysterical. "Well, can you figure it out for me? Is that woman dead yet? Is she?"
"I am sorry, Host," 00009425's cold, electronic voice chimed in. "The system is not a fortune teller. It cannot predict another's future based on calculations alone."
Huang Shi Yao stopped in her tracks, still dragging the large suitcase, and roared angrily, "Then what good are you to me? What can you even do for me?"
