"Who is this big shot?"
"Is that font for some kind of Super VIP? I've never seen that before!"
"I've been watching streams for ten years and this is a first for me."
"Wasn't Himeko's Ultimate just demonstrated? Is this pro a newcomer?"
Guinaifen naturally saw the special comment. She licked her lips and looked into the camera. "Really? Himeko's energy is almost full. She should be able to use her Ultimate next turn."
Then, the blue-violet text appeared again: "Keep putting March 7th's shield on Himeko."
March 7th had recovered from her stunned state. Guinaifen had originally wanted to shield herself since Himeko's shield was still half-full, while March 7th and the Trailblazer were completely defenseless. More importantly, all three were low on health. At this stage, whoever got the shield was the only one who would survive.
After a moment of thought, Guinaifen decided to follow the advice. She refreshed the shield on Himeko.
The enemy's turn arrived. The [Antimatter Engine] unleashed a powerful single-target attack. Its target was exactly who the commenter predicted: the shielded Himeko.
The blow was devastating, leaving the shield with only a sliver of health. If Guinaifen hadn't refreshed it, Himeko would have been one-shotted instantly. Furthermore, because of that hit, Himeko's energy bar finally capped out.
"Finally! Time to teach this Doomsday Beast a lesson with Himeko's [Heavenly Flare]!" Guinaifen shouted excitedly.
Just as she was about to press the button, the blue text flashed again. "Don't rush the Ultimate! Wait until the Doomsday Beast's left hand recovers its weakness state before you fire."
Guinaifen wanted to ask why. Shouldn't you use an Ultimate as soon as it's ready? If the Beast's next move was an AoE, wouldn't that waste any potential energy gain?
Because of that split second of hesitation, the Doomsday Beast took its turn. It didn't attack. Instead, its newly recovered arms began to converge on the Antimatter Engine, charging up a massive attack.
At that moment, the viewers in the livestream realized the strategy.
"666666... (Pro!)"
"So that's it! Himeko's Ultimate can break both of those recovered hands in one go!"
"Holy crap! This person is a genius!"
"Is this person really new? I've watched a dozen of these battles and never noticed that pattern!"
"I suppose... you still don't understand," Himeko said on screen. She sat gracefully in a chair, holding a cup of coffee while gazing up at the stars. "Humans never conceal their desire to control the heavens... and I am no exception."
An orbital laser descended vertically from deep space. The Doomsday Beast was instantly engulfed in a massive pillar of fire. The weaknesses of all three parts were shattered simultaneously.
"You can't run!"
Himeko then triggered her Talent's follow-up attack. She hurled her suitcase, and a monomolecular saw extended from it, grinding against the Beast's hide in a shower of brilliant sparks. This pushed the second phase of the Doomsday Beast's health even lower.
The enemy's turn was pushed back on the action bar. Himeko's actual turn was only just beginning. The tides had completely turned! It was time for a full-scale counterattack.
"My god! Was this all calculated?"
"So this is how you're supposed to play the game!"
"A pro is a pro. That game sense is terrifying!"
"If I had that kind of brain, I could clear everything even without five-star pulls."
Seeing the stream of admiring comments, Silver Wolf watching from behind her own screen couldn't help but feel a slight blush on her face. In truth,
she had simply noticed a pattern during the first half of the fight: enemies seemed more likely to target characters protected by March 7th's shield. She wasn't sure if it was a hidden mechanic or a "taunt" effect built into the skill.
Her goal had been to let the Doomsday Beast hit Himeko to cap her energy, allowing her to "waste" the beast's turn by breaking it immediately after it recovered. As for Himeko's Ultimate breaking all three weaknesses at once and then triggering a follow-up attack...
that part hadn't actually been in her calculations. She just assumed Himeko's Ultimate wouldn't be weak and would be good for breaking.
She hadn't expected it to be that powerful. It wasn't just the visual impact; for a boss like the Doomsday Beast where all three parts were weak to Fire, that [Heavenly Flare] was a direct hit to the jugular.
Silver Wolf had only been watching for a few minutes. She wasn't yet clear on the specific abilities or deeper mechanics of the characters. But after this experience, she felt she had grasped the essence of the game. She couldn't wait to download it herself.
"According to them, only Himeko is a five-star character, while the others are four-stars? Fine. I'll pull a Himeko too!"
On the screen, all three parts of the Doomsday Beast had been neutralized, leaving it slumped weakly on the platform. It was now nothing more than a sitting duck. The researchers watching the screen cheered. The chat was filled with "Boss, you're the GOAT" and "Carry me, pro."
Silver Wolf smirked and quietly slipped away, a nameless hero leaving the scene. At the same time, she pulled up an interface in the air, remotely activating her phone to download Honkai: Star Rail.
Who cared about the [Spirit of Punklorde] anymore? This was way more fun! She had been a fan of turn-based games for a decade. She was definitely going to beat this game herself.

Silver Wolf launched the app with excitement, her gamer soul burning with anticipation. Just then, she heard a researcher's cry of surprise nearby.
"Miss Asta missed the featured pull again! But it's a new five-star!"
"It's not Himeko or Welt?"
"No! It's not one of the Astral Express crew. It's a completely new female character!"
"No way! Did she pull Kafka or Silver Wolf?"
Silver Wolf's fingers paused over her screen. Her ears practically stood on end.
What did I just hear? Kafka? Silver Wolf?
No way... Could it be...?
Have Kafka and I been put into this game as playable characters?
Developer, you really have some nerve!
