Avoiding the plot, Raising the villain

An introverted girl finds herself transmigrated into the world of a romance novel she once read. She awakens in the body of a weak, pampered, and wealthy young lady—a supporting character whose fate in the original story was cruel and tragic. In the original novel, this girl was overprotected by her parents, sheltered from the world, and raised without the ability to defend herself. Because of her naivety, she was easily manipulated and used as a pawn by the story's Villainess to harm the female lead. After mistakenly offending the villain, her family was ruined, driven into bankruptcy, and she ultimately met a horrific death. Knowing this future, the transmigrated girl resolves to avoid the main plot entirely. However, fate intervenes when, on her way home from school, she witnesses a young boy being relentlessly bullied by his peers. Initially, she considers ignoring the situation to avoid unnecessary trouble, but seeing how pitiful the child is, she decides to help him. From that moment on, the boy begins to follow her everywhere, addressing her affectionately as his elder sister. Two years later, her family relocates, forcing her to say goodbye to the only friend she has made in this world. What she does not realize is that the bullied child she saved is destined to become the main villain of the original novel. Unlike the original story, however, his obsession does not develop toward the female lead. Instead, it is her—the girl who showed him kindness—who becomes the center of his possessive devotion, setting the story on a completely different and dangerous path.
