Chapter 1 - Synopsis

In the quiet town of San Estrella, nothing unusual ever happens. The days pass slowly, the streets remain peaceful, and life follows the same rhythm it always has. For most people, time is something they never notice.

But for Elena Rivera time has begun to feel... different.

For several nights, Elena has been waking up before dawn to the faint sound of a clock ticking somewhere in the darkness.

Tick... tock... tick... tock...

At first, she believes it is only her imagination. Maybe a broken clock in the house. Maybe a strange dream. But the sound continues to follow her—at hom, at school, even in the quiet moments when the world around her shoulder be silent.

Then one ordinary afternoon, the impossible happens.

While sitting in class, Elena hears the ticking again—louder than ever before. The sound echoes through her mind until suddenly, without warning...

Everything stops.

Her teacher freezes mid-sentence. A pen hangs motionless in the air. Outside the window, the trees, the clouds, and every person in town become perfectly still.

The entire world has stopped.

Except for her.

Confused and frightened. Elena slowly steps out of the silent classroom, realizing she is the only one still able to move. Guided by the mysterious ticking sound, she wonders through the frozen streets of San Estrella until she discovers something she is certain has never existed before—an old antique shop hidden between two buildings.

Inside, hundreds of clocks tick together in strange harmony.

And in the center of the room stands a towering golden clock with a long crack stretching across its glass surface.

There, Elena learns a truth that changes everything.

She is not simply witnessing the frozen world.

She is not the only one who can move within it.

But the ancient clock that controls times is breaking... and someone, somewhere, is responsible.

If the clock shatters completely, the past, present, and future could collapse into chaos.

And now, whether she is ready or not, Elena may be the only person capable of stopping it.

But one question remains unanswered.

If Elena can move when time stops...

Who else can?
