Title: The Obsidian Don / Heir to the Valerius Syndicate.
Personality: Quiet, observant, and ruthlessly protective. He doesn't raise his voice; he doesn't have to. He values loyalty above all else because he has been surrounded by traitors his entire life.
The Secret: He hates the "business." He is secretly trying to transition the family's assets into legal holdings to protect his younger sister from the life that killed their father.
The Appeal: He is a "Grey Hero." He does bad things for what he believes are the right reasons. His obsession with Elara stems from the fact that she is the only person who doesn't look at him with fear—she looks at him with a challenge.

The Twist: He is the "True Villain." He wants the Valerius empire dismantled not to stop crime, but so his agency can take over their smuggling routes for government "black ops." He views Elara as a disposable tool.
