Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

"Do you, Amelia Hart take Evan Seville as your lawful husband?" The priest smiled when he asked the question, eyeing the two couple in front of him.

Evan looked at Amelia, his wife-to-be, with adoration and loving eyes that held promises. Amelia's were building tears, smiling so brightly as she gave her answer, "I do."

Both were too excited to the point they didn't even let the priest finished his words, as they kissed, filled with love and longing. Evan cupped her face before pulling away and pressed a kiss on her forehead and pressed his forehead against hers.

"I promise you, with all my life, I swear to the heavens above.. I'll be your rock, your shoulder, your therapist, your everything.."

Amelia stared at him for a moment, before bursting into a laughter that echoed in the church, making Evan's heart warm.

AFTER PARTY

They smiled and laughed with guests and families, but eve though they needed to seperate sometimes to speak with certain guests, they often looked for each other amongst the crowds.

Amelia, who just finished talking to her bridemaids, she pushed herself into rhe dancing crowds, looking for her husband, Evan. She felt a little anxious as she was not good people and has social anxiety. She could barely breathe when she pushed herself through the crowd. Dizziness was slowly showing, her eyes starting to blurry, her heart started racing, unfamiliar people asking her if she was okay but she could respond as she didn't know these people much since they were Evan's.

Before she could pass out, Evan got into crowd on time, grabbing her hand as he pressed his forehead against hers, "breathe, sweetheart, I'm here.. I'm here.." Evan spoke softly, while Amelia fluttered her eyes closed and breathed in his cologne, calming down.

"Come on, let's get you some water and away from these people for a moment," Evan said softly, cuppung her small face with his large hands, his eyes averting from left to right, staring into her brown eyes when Amelia fluttered her eyes open. Evan pulled her out fo the crowd, pushing through until they got into an area where they could only be just the two of them.

Evan gave her a water bottle, which he had picked up along the way and had already opened it for her. Amelia took it from his hand, drinking the water with her hand slightly trembling. Evan stared at her, before asking gently, faking her small hand to his large one, "how are you feeling, my wife?"

"I'm fine, just a bit dizzy. That's all," she looked at him with a slight smile. Evan scoffed softly before pulling her into a hug, kissing her forehead and letting his lips stayed there then pulled away, "good. Tell me if you're not feeling well to do anything or to even do it tonight, alright, darlin'?" His voice, huskied and deep with dominance yet comfort.

Amelia's heart skipped a beat, and silently nodded in agreement, "yes, sir.." She muttered shyly. Evan kissed her forehead once again, before admiring his tiny wife before him. She was so small and cute tthat she even had to stand in her tippy toes whenever she tried to kiss his lips— Evan was 6'2 and Amelia was just 5'1.

AN HOUR LATER..

Evan carried his wife out of the limo, pulling her gently close to him as he made his way inside their house, trying to fit in the door way since his wife's gown was fluffy. Once he got inside their newlywed house that looked like luxury when really, it was Amelia's design, walls were painted ash grey and white, floors were black with gold cracks, flower vases in each room— It was luxury for Evan, everything that Amelia does.

He locked the door and headed upstairs, his steps making the wooden stairs and floor creaked. He reached their room and gently placed Amelia, his now legal wife, on their kingsize bed. The bed covers were also picked by Amelia, it was a silk, old rose color, which Amelia loved. Everything that was related to building their newlywed house and the interior and exterior designs, were chosen and designed by Amelia.

Evan helped her out by gathering some great carpenters, engineers, and workers to help her accomplished their dream home. Now that it was finish, it was like a dream come true for him, to see Amelia on their kingsize bed in her wedding gown still, looking so innocent and tired at the same time.

Evan's eyes were filled with love, keeping his eyes on her sleeping face, before he bent down and kissed her forehead with his lips lingering a little too long as he closed his eyes to enjoy this moment with her and pulled away to get everything done. He prepared everything, the nightgown, the bathtub filled with warm water, rose petals and pink bubbled baths.

He didn't changed his clothes yet, his priority was Amelia, his wife— He always put her first above everything else— He gently shook her, "hey, love, get up.. Come on, you need to take a bath first so you can sleep properly," he spoke softly, kissing her temple when she groaned and stretched.

She lazily got up with Evan helping her up and guided her towards their bathroom, helped her unzipped her gown, undressing her carefully. Amelia got out of her wedding gown, her hand holding onto Evan's large one, slowly hopping into the warm bathtub. Evan smiled slowly, kissing her crown, "I'll be back for a moment, yeah? Stay awake for me while I put away your wedding gown."

Amelia hummed in response, looking up at him with half lidded eyes and a smile forming on her lips. Evan just chuckled at her silliness and left the bathroom with her wedding gown on his arm, not closing the door in case she called out for him.

Evan walked in to their walk-in closet, which was also designed by Amelia, walls painted in a pastel pink with old rose color mixed in, rose arts were all over the wall, their closet was white and designed with flowers— Amelia loved flowers.

He put away her wedding gown in a safe plastic before putting it inside the box. He also changed into his baggy pants, leaving his top bare and flexing his muscles. He put away his tuxedo in a safe plastic and putting it inside the box together with Amelia's wedding gown. He covered the top and put it on the top of their closet then walked out of their walk-in closet.

He went back to the bathroom, seeing his wife, Amelia, humming softly to herself with her back facing his as she washed herself gently. He smiled to himself as he thought, my life before my eyes..
